Endlessly shouting thank you for another incredible year. Click the link to see one photo from every session this year and read about each person!

Right as the year turns, I am hopping a one way flight to South America with no current plans of coming back. My desire is the spend the year focusing on myself with workaways in new countries, photographing landscapes, and facilitating new skills. I've never taken a hiatus, and I don't view this as...

New blog from a sunrise session in Moab!

Nicole & Nelson did their marriage privately, and reached out to me to do their wedding announcement photos in Arches National Park while they were on their honeymoon. Given it was summer and the temperatures during the day, I suggested we meet for sunrise for the coolest temperatures and least amou...

New blog!

In my last blog, I shared some of their engagement photos first before the wedding. I decided to continue that on with Gracie and Danny's story, as in an ideal world I love being able to meet my clients ahead of time for an engagement session! I drove from California and they drove from Washington,....

Announcing my newest blog, sharing Bella & Craig’s unique wedding experience. One of the most creative wedding stories I’ve ever captured!

These two truly thought outside of the box for their wedding day and had a unique experience for themselves and their guests. If you meet me in person, you’ll quickly gather that I am a free spiritied hippie leaning soul. Bella and Craig are the same way, we share a love for the Grateful Dead and Jam Bands, as well as the forest and mystical fairy lore. When Bella reached out to me and told me she wanted to have an engagement session in Sequoia, I was immediately in. Then when she told me about their plans for their wedding, I was even more excited.

Bella wanted a forest fairy wedding. She wanted the bridesmaids and flower girls in long dresses, groomsmen in deep blues, greenery and redwoods surrounding them, and a unique arch and Persian runner rug. The ceremony was unplugged, and it felt like being with family. Everyone let out the most thrilled shouts and cheers for Bella and Craig’s walk down the aisle, the energy was so high that Craig even did his walk twice (especially to show off his suit!). After the ceremony we had a large group photo, and guests even stuck around for additional photos with the couple.

Next, we headed into Chabot Space & Science Center, a unique venue for a wedding, and one of the best I have ever seen. They had a jam band cocktail hour in a planetarium hosted by TV Broken 3rd Eye Open It was like being at the sphere for Dead & Co in Vegas, but this one was just for Craig and Bella.

In this blog you’ll see their engagement photos, unique wedding ideas, creative guest and performer photos, and much more. Click the link to see / read more!

50 miles and 13,000 ft of elevation in one week! Here is my recap / itinerary of Banff National Park and the surrounding areas.

Last month I had multiple elopements in Glacier National Park, Montana, a place I have visited quite a few times. Everytime I visit Glacier, I think about how Banff is only 250 miles north. I've never had time to visit, but this year with my van in the shop and nowhere else to live, I rented a car f...

Surprise!!

I’ve been alluding to a secret project in Lake Powell for a couple weeks now. The secret was that two of my best friends eloped last month, and I had the honor of being there to take their photos 💛

It was in December that we started discussing their plan and coming up with ideas. Devi and Dalton love their river trips, and wanted to incorporate the river into their elopement somehow. We talked about the Colorado River around Moab, we looked at Escalante, but when I pitched the idea of Lake Powell they both fell in love with it.

Their elopement day started with kayaking into a slot canyon where they were going to exchange vows, however due to windy weather conditions we left the canyon early to head to Horseshoe Bend for a sunset ceremony instead.

Devi and Dalton, thank you for having me on this incredible adventure and beautifully meaningful day! I adore you both so much, and I am so happy I got to share in this experience with you two. We did this completely as a secret, today is the day I am posting their blog and we’re surprising all our friends and their families with their elopement announcement! 💛 Click below for the full blog!

Very excited to be returning to Crater Lake for an engagement session next month, take a peak at this last double surprise proposal from Crater Lake last fall!

Kunal reached out to me last fall about his idea to propose to Pranita at Crater Lake. They already had a getaway with their friends planned, but he wanted to add in an extra surprise to their proposal. Many more of their friends flew out from all over the states to hide in the bushes to witness the...

Emilie and Noah reached out to me in early August, asking for advice on how they could elope in Yosemite the NEXT month. Couples often don’t think this is possible to plan an elopement in such a short timeframe, but there definitely are ways to work around the system to still get the experience you want, while following the rules of the park. As you can see from this new blog, it is very possible to have a full day incredible elopement experience with limited time to plan!

Emilie and Noah chose “Pine” as their new last name together. As they were exploring the area surrounding Yosemite, they came across a national forest sign that said “The Pines”, which we obviously had to stop there for photos to announce their new last name! I am so happy with how all the details of this day came together so perfectly 🌲

Beginning my first blog of 2024 by showing off one of my favorite 2022 weddings I haven't shared yet.

Lauren & Amanda are two of the absolute sweetest people. They work so hard in their day to day lives, and having a day to celebrate them with their closest friends and loved ones was an honor. One of my favorite couples & weddings to date! This venue the has also been on my radar as a dream venue to shoot in for many years. The experience this family provides is so unique and beautiful, I would highly recommend this venue for an east coast wedding!

These two beautiful mamas are now expecting their first baby this upcoming May! I am so excited to see them embark on the journey of motherhood, I have no doubt they are going to be the most incredible parents.

I still have so many blogs and photos to share of all the incredible love stories I captured in 2023. Click the linkif you want to read more about these two! 💛
