Announcing my newest blog, sharing Bella & Craig’s unique wedding experience. One of the most creative wedding stories I’ve ever captured!
These two truly thought outside of the box for their wedding day and had a unique experience for themselves and their guests. If you meet me in person, you’ll quickly gather that I am a free spiritied hippie leaning soul. Bella and Craig are the same way, we share a love for the Grateful Dead and Jam Bands, as well as the forest and mystical fairy lore. When Bella reached out to me and told me she wanted to have an engagement session in Sequoia, I was immediately in. Then when she told me about their plans for their wedding, I was even more excited.
Bella wanted a forest fairy wedding. She wanted the bridesmaids and flower girls in long dresses, groomsmen in deep blues, greenery and redwoods surrounding them, and a unique arch and Persian runner rug. The ceremony was unplugged, and it felt like being with family. Everyone let out the most thrilled shouts and cheers for Bella and Craig’s walk down the aisle, the energy was so high that Craig even did his walk twice (especially to show off his suit!). After the ceremony we had a large group photo, and guests even stuck around for additional photos with the couple.
Next, we headed into Chabot Space & Science Center, a unique venue for a wedding, and one of the best I have ever seen. They had a jam band cocktail hour in a planetarium hosted by TV Broken 3rd Eye Open It was like being at the sphere for Dead & Co in Vegas, but this one was just for Craig and Bella.
In this blog you’ll see their engagement photos, unique wedding ideas, creative guest and performer photos, and much more. Click the link to see / read more!
