Enjoy one of our delicious starters as part of a leisurely lunch or dinner party with friends. Favourite dishes include our salmon, sweet potato, lime and coriander fish cakes served with sweet chilli sauce and tomato and mozzarella salad with pistachio pesto crumb, rocket and balsamic dressing.

We have spent a wonderful 13 evenings cooking at our client's incredible property and have loved getting to know their family. Yesterday we cooked their final meal in Mallorca before they head back to the UK. We served a selection of canapés to start including salmon, sweet potato, lime and coriander fish cakes, served with a sweet chilli sauce. For the main we served roasted suckling pig with roast potatoes, vegetables and our delicious apple sauce. Our chilled lemon creams were the perfect dessert to complete the meal.
We will miss their fabulous property with its spectacular views however we are thrilled to have been asked to return in late October and cook some more!

We cooked for last night's clients a week ago when they enjoyed a selection of our traditional tapas dishes. Yesterday they opted for our 5 course 'Tapas Feast' and loved every dish. Again our fish goujons in sesame seed breadcrumbs served on shredded spinach with soy and sweet chilli sauce and our 'Hassleback' Sa Pobla potatoes roasted in butter and sea salt were two of the favourite dishes of the evening. For dessert, as an alternative to our chocolate prosecco truffle cups we served chilled lemon creams and our warm apple, walnut and cinnamon cake served with vanilla ice-cream.

A Paella Party with a view! We had a fantastic time last night cooking for a family group staying in a spectacular Balearic Villas property, 'Villa Marvelo' overlooking Pollenca bay. We served our sharing platter starters followed by a mixed paella with chicken, pork, mussels and prawns. For dessert we served ​Summer fruit salads with rosewater syrup and chocolate brownies topped with orange cream.

We cooked a selection of dishes for our client yesterday. To start we served crostini topped with cream cheese, horseradish, smoked salmon and dill. We served prawn skewers with a garlic, lemon and smoked paprika marinade and a teriyaki chicken and vegetable stir-fry accompanied by ​'Sa Pobla' potato and sun-dried tomato salad and a mixed green salad. We also prepared our delicious homemade pork and beef burgers topped with melted cheese and bacon with a side of potato wedges.

A relaxed evening in Cala San Vicente. Yesterday we served a 3 course meal from our 'Dinner Party' menu to a family staying in a beautiful, tranquil villa. To start we served an amuse-bouche, cucumber topped with Asian spiced hummus with dates and fresh coriander. For the starter we prepared our delicious warm caramelised onion and goat's cheese tart, served with blueberry jelly and for the main cooked chicken breast wrapped in serrano ham, stuffed with sun-dried tomato and Emmental cheese, served with wilted spinach, 'Hassleback' potatoes, roasted vine tomatoes and pesto salsa. For dessert everyone enjoyed our chilled lemon creams with fruit coulis and fresh raspberries. Following dessert we prepared a cheese board with a selection of cheeses served with rustic bread, crackers and caramelised onion chutney.

This week our client enjoyed one of our favourite 'Dinner Party' menu dishes, chicken breast wrapped in serrano ham, stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and Emmental cheese, served with 'Hassleback' potatoes, roasted vine tomatoes, broccoli and a pesto salsa. For dessert we served our chocolate prosecco truffle cups topped with whipped cream and crushed pistachios. Yesterday evening we cooked a selection of tapas dishes for our client, her family and friends. Our garlic mushrooms stuffed with pistachio pesto crumb were a particular favourite.

Yesterday we cooked a selection of traditional tapas dishes for a family celebrating a 70th Birthday. We served tempura calamari with homemade alioli, meatballs in a rich tomato sauce topped with fresh basil, pan fried chorizo in a red wine reduction, patatas bravas and peppers de Padron. We also cooked our delicious chicken and date tagine with Moorish spices, a popular choice this year.

The calm after the storm! It was a beautiful evening yesterday, perfect for our client and her family to enjoy a selection of tapas dishes while taking in their spectacular views. To start we served an amuse-bouche, crostini topped with melted goat's cheese, blueberry jelly and walnuts. We cooked our chicken, red pepper, date and chickpea tagine with Moorish spices and served garlic prawns, tempura calamari, meatballs and patatas bravas. A Paella Party to celebrate a 21st Birthday! Yesterday evening we cooked for a family and their friends at a beautiful property in Ternelles, Pollenca. After serving a complimentary glass of cava for each guest we served our sharing platters followed by a mixed paella with chicken, chorizo, mussels and prawns and our vegan paella with artichokes, apple, peppers, dried-fruits and nuts. For dessert we served our chilled lemon creams with ginger biscuit base, topped with fruit coulis and fresh raspberries and chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream.

An evening of tapas to celebrate a 10th wedding anniversary! Yesterday we cooked a large selection of dishes from our traditional and fusion tapas menus for a family staying in a beautiful villa in Pollenca. Among the choice we served garlic prawns, meatballs in a rich tomato sauce topped with fresh basil, tempura calamari with homemade alioli and pan fried chorizo in a red wine reduction. From our fusion menu we prepared baba ganoush, served with pitta bread and carrot sticks and oven roasted spicy jerk cauliflower served with stir-fried mixed peppers and lime wedges.

Yesterday our client and her family enjoyed a number of dishes from our 'Al-Fresco' menu. To start we served crostini topped with balsamic and garlic roasted tomatoes and cucumber topped with Asian spiced hummus with dates. For the main we served teriyaki, tikka and salt and pepper chicken accompanied by roasted 'Hassleback' Sa Pobla potatoes, oven roasted vegetables and a mixed salad. We had a fantastic evening yesterday catering for a group of ladies celebrating an upcoming wedding at a beautiful apartment in Puerto Pollensa. We prepared a buffet selection of canapés, pintxos and other tasty bites including pan-fried halloumi and watermelon skewers, cucumber topped with Asian spiced hummus, dates and fresh coriander and chicken marinaded in 'Ras-el-Hanout' with dates and mixed peppers. We also served tempura prawns and fish goujons with sweet chilli sauce served on baby gem lettuce and honey glazed chicken stuffed with Mallorcan 'Sobrassada' topped with crushed almonds.

We had a fantastic evening yesterday catering for a family staying in a beautiful property in Ternelles, Pollenca. We prepared a choice of plates from our 'Al-Fresco' menu including teriyaki chicken skewers, tabbouleh with couscous, tomato, red pepper, lemon, parsley and fresh mint and a selection of Mallorcan and traditional pork sausages. We served two salads, a pan-fried halloumi and watermelon salad and a goat's cheese salad with walnuts and a balsamic dressing.

A 'Tapas Feast' for 10 and a double 18th Birthday celebration! Last night we cooked at a fabulous villa in Puerto Pollensa for a family and their friends celebrating a very special occasion. We served our five course feast menu including fish goujons in sesame seed breadcrumbs served on shredded spinach with soy and sweet chilli sauce and spicy jerk chicken served with stir-fried mixed peppers and lime wedges. Everyone enjoyed a complimentary glass of cava and as a special request we baked a carrot cake for the birthday boy and girl!

Last night we cooked for a party of 13 at a beautiful villa in Siller, Puerto Pollensa. We served a selection of traditional tapas dishes including pan fried chorizo in a red wine reduction, honey roasted chicken stuffed with Mallorcan 'Sobrassada' topped with crushed almonds, peppers de Padron and garlic prawns. One of the favourite dishes this year is our garlic mushrooms with pistachio pesto crumb​. For dessert we served our ​chocolate brownies with vanilla ice-cream and chocolate prosecco truffle cups topped with whipped cream and crushed pistachios.

Yesterday evening our clients enjoyed a selection of dishes from our fusion and traditional tapas menus. We served Asian spiced hummus with dates and crudités, tempura calamari, chicken tagine with dates and Moorish spices, garlic prawns, meatballs and patatas bravas with our own spicy tomato sauce. We also cooked our fish goujons in sesame seed breadcrumbs ​served with shredded spinach with soy and sweet chilli sauce. For dessert we prepared summer fruit salads with rosewater syrup topped with crushed pistachios.

A slight change from our usual food posts. For anyone who enjoys browsing the art galleries of Pollenca, I have signed prints of my artwork available to buy in 'Galeria Dionis Bennàssar.' With time on my hands in January, I sketched from photographs I took, a number of hopefully familiar and recognizable locations and buildings in Pollenca old town. I then collaged the sketches using magazine cuttings.

We're looking forward to cooking at this beautiful property for a number of evenings over the month ahead and take in the spectacular views of the Puig de Maria and the Pollenca countryside. For our client's first evening we prepared a selection of dishes from our Al-Fresco menu. To start we served a sharing platter followed by chicken skewers marinated in a BBQ sauce, a Mahon cheese, bacon and caramelised onion tart, pan-fried goat's cheese salad with walnuts and a balsamic dressing and roasted vegetables. We also prepared our homemade pork and beef burgers served with soft white buns, cheese, tomato and lettuce.

Yesterday we returned to Palma and to the fabulous manor house to spend the day cooking. First we prepared a poolside birthday brunch and served a fresh fruit platter, toasted bagels with smoked salmon, cream cheese and avocados, a choice of cold meats and cheeses and a selection of croissants and pastries. Throughout the day we prepared a number of dips and salads for the evening meal. We served a Greek salad with feta cheese, chicken Caesar salad and a tomato and mozzarella salad with rocket, pistachio pesto crumb and a balsamic dressing. We griddled mixed vegetables to accompany the barbecued meat and fish. We cooked a whole fillet of Angus beef to serve with a chimichurri sauce, Mallorcan lamb cutlets served with a mint sauce and whole seabass. A fantastic day out!
