The first time I saw ’s mesmeric frames from ’s recent workshop, I must admit, my jaw did drop a little. ⁠
⁠
Ok, a lot. ⁠
⁠
Swipe through to feast your eyes on the magnificently immersive, detailed scenes. From artfully adorned serpentine tablescapes to dramatic, sculptural floral installations, the striking elegance unfolds against the tranquil backdrop of the idyllic English countryside.⁠
⁠

And whilst the lavish, dreamy splendour of The Ballroom draws us to the luxuriously designed tables, it’s the understated detailing that I’m also naturally drawn too. ⁠

The ‘Queen of Buttercream Cakes’, Vaani of mirrored the elegance with her three-tiered buttercream creation. This floral beauty features delicate hand piped flowers of buttercream swirls, each one thoughtfully placed as if to create movement of the flowers cascading so gently southwards 🕊️⁠

A barn wedding is a popular and particularly desired choice of venue amongst engaged couples in which to celebrate. The rustic, rural setting, endless surrounding countryside and characterful charm are irresistibly appealing for many. ⁠

But for Emily and Matt, it was more than just the rustic aesthetic that drew them to hosting a barn wedding. Working as a dairy farmer, a converted barn was a non-negotiable for Matt and his (now) wife. ⁠

Milli + Kurtis’s late spring wedding encompassed an overarching feeling of joyous love at the very heart of their elegant celebrations. ⁠

Embracing a feeling of relaxed, laid-back vibes, their day unfolded within the distinctive red brick building of Cripps & Co’s , nestled within Nottinghamshire’s Welbeck estate⁠.⁠

With a nod to the casual undertone of the day, their choice of wedding cake(s) undoubtedly put a smile on their guests faces. Whilst a semi naked one-tiered beauty was spot lit as a cutting cake, taking centre stage was an epic Colin and Connie the Caterpillar cake display. Complete with a veil and top hat, alongside dozens of mini caterpillar cakes, the OG M&S cakes were a stroke of genius 🐛 🤌🏼⁠

A little downpour (or torrential downpour to be more precise) couldn’t dampen these two lovebirds’ beautiful city wedding.⁠

If you’re marrying in the UK, the weather’s renowned for often not playing ball. When I was little I remember the clear distinction between the four seasons - whilst the entire summer was hot, winter was snowy (and spring and autumn did their beautiful thing), nowadays it seems the seasons just merge into a muddle of mixed weathers.⁠
