Beginning with an intimate ceremony at Brighton’s Town Hall for 35 guests, Jess & Alex exchanged personal vows before reading out love letters they had written to one another when they were just 15 years old! ⁠🤍⁠

More friends and family joined the couple later that day for their evening celebrations which saw the couple sneak off for golden hour portraits as they strolled along Brighton’s boardwalk. ⁠

Back in 2020, when weddings were restricted in guest numbers and the approach became widely popular, we first saw the explosion of the ‘long veil X short dress’ wedding look⁠ 🔥⁠

If you’ve followed for a while, you’ll know that I’m partial to a black and white frame.⁠

I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite black and white wedding images taken by the brilliant , an emotive visual storyteller. They say, “home is where the heart is”... ⁠
⁠.. and for newlyweds Daisy and Chris, this phrase resonated deeply, in a powerfully profound, meaningful way. Rather than celebrating at a wedding venue, their choice of location was, quite literally, where the heart is. ⁠

The couple’s house in Derbyshire was the setting for their intimate home wedding, a relaxed and heartfelt celebration. ⁠

Formalities and tradition were exchanged for beautiful personalisation and meaningful details. Their day was understated, immensely special and filled with a palpable abundance of genuine joy.
