Scarborough Film Festival 2023 !! Thankyou to everyone who came and those who supported from afar, we met so many wonderful people over the course of its four day run and learnt so much. It all came from a meeting last year between Elizabeth Boag and Martha Cattell and now we have put together 12 film events across four days in five different venues in Scarborough including a screening on a boat.
We were conscious of showing a wide range of films whilst also showcasing local talent: music, performance, film and food. It would not have been possible without the support of the various venues and collaborators, especially Film Hub North, SJT, SeaGrown, Scarborough Museums Trust, Mandy Apple, Craft Bar, Caribbean Pop-Up Cinema, Rebel Radics Sound System, Railway Club, Record Revivals, Locl Properties and Brass Castle Brewery.
Head to the website to read the daily blog by Laurence Boag-Matthews for more info and insight into the full schedule: https://lnkd.in/e8pQgk3S
We’re looking forward to making next year’s festival even better so if you have any suggestions for festivals to visit, films to show, people to collaborate with etc, please get in touch 😄
