Pickle competition sign-ups for the Pickle Palooza are now open! 🥒

We'll be having a pickle eating competition AND pickle juice chug off! Keep reading to see how they will work.

Pickle Eating Competition:
-We will have TWO competitions, one for men and women
-The competition will last 5 minutes exactly
-Eat as many pickles as you can in the time allotted
-We will have judges timing and counting your pickles
-We will be capping each competition to around 10 people
-If any pickles come back up in reverse, you will be disqualified (and please don't throw up on the table 😂)
-The person who eats the most pickles will win a prize valued at $200!

Pickle Juice Chug Off:
-We will have TWO competitions, one for men and women
-Each contestant will get a 32oz container of pickle juice
-The person that finishes first will win
-Any significant spillage of juice will result in a disqualification
-We will have judges watching for spillage
-We will be capping each competition to around 10 people
-If any pickle juice comes back up during the chug, you will be disqualified (and again, please don't throw up on the tables 😂)
-The person who drinks their juice the fastest will win a prize valued at $200!

Hey pickle lovers! We've gotten a few questions about bags and seating for the Pickle Palooza.

Bag policy: Small purses and handbags are allowed. No large bags or coolers.

Seating: We will have limited seating available if you'd like to relax and enjoy our delicious vendor goods. You're also welcome to bring your own foldable lawn chairs or blankets!

Also, please remember your ID! You must have a valid ID to receive an alcohol wristband.

THE most common question we've been getting about the Pickle Palooza has been, what are pickle gladiators? Welp, feast your eyes on this rendering of our suits! We are creating two, yes TWO pickle gladiator suits for the festival complete with jousting sticks and a full ring.

If this is your first event by Red Devil Events, you'll soon see that we always err on the side of ridiculous. We're not even sure how this idea came about, but we're sure glad it did.

American Gladiators was such a classic show in the '90s, if there was any way we could bring it back and relate it to pickles we were going to do it 😂

Ahhhh the giant Pickle Palooza balloon has finally arrived!! It's like Christmas morning! 😁😁

First of all, we have no idea how they packed this behemoth into this regular sized box, although it does weigh like 200lbs. The DHL lady was quite winded when she dropped it off. Her exact words were "thank you for being home".

Second, we now have a reliable giant balloon hookup. This beauty arrived a week ahead of schedule. Well done 👏👏

if you need some giant 50 foot flamingos for your shops, you know who to call.

Originally we wanted to order a 60 foot pickle balloon. The saleswoman at the company only responded "Wow." 😂 We eventually decided on a much more practical balloon size that only fills up a garage and not an entire street. Fear not, we will revisit the 60-footer for year two of the .palooza in 2025. Maybe we'll float that one above the Ravenel. Ultimate advertising placement.

Anyway, sorry we had another post planned but this was just too exciting not to post.

What a match made in heaven for the largest pickle festival in the region! Oh, and they're bringing their awesome car as well! Just another photo op for all you Grammers!

Oh no, did we forget to mention the Pickle Prince and Princess contest at the Pickle Palooza? 🤴👸

That's right, come dressed in your best pickle-themed attire for a chance to win $200 as the Pickle Prince and $200 as the Pickle Princess! If you know our style, the more ridiculous the better. Y'all should be at the festival outshining even Dillbert and Briney Spears.

To enter the Pickle Prince and Princess contest:
1. Show up in your craziest pickle-themed outfit
2. Get a photo in front of our backdrop near the entrance

Introducing vendor spotlights!

For the next few weeks, in between our usual ridiculous posts, we'll feature some of our unique vendors at the Pickle Palooza on September 21st.

We introduce to you, Soap from Kids 🧼

Soap from Kids will have a few signature pickle-scented soaps available at the festival including:
-DILL-iciously Pickle
-Pickled Melon
-Tea-riffic Cucumber
-Blooming Cucumber
-Pickles in a Pouch

They will also have traditional and seasonal soaps at the festival. All of their soaps are a DILL-icious treat for your skin!

PLUS, Soap from Kids has generously decided to donate 20% of their proceeds to Keeper of the Wild to support orphaned and injured animals like "Seeds Cucumber", the opposum in the last photo! 🙏

Welp, we caved and plan on bringing in two, yes TWO mascots for the Pickle Palooza on September 21st!!

You've of course already heard about DILLBERT (left), and this is a mockup but yes we will be adding a mouth for him 😬. We're excited to announce that we're also bringing in BRINEY SPEARS for the festival! 🥒

Dillbert and Briney Spears will partake in some of the pickle themed activities, be available for photo ops, and much more. We also plan on having at least one of our mascots at the check-in party at .yard on September 18th!

We also have from the making an appearance and we're working on TWO more well-known mascots to join us at the festival. We may have enough mascots to field a basketball team! 😂

Introducing the newest member of our team, Sydney aka .loren 🙌

Sydney is a pretty big dill (obviously), and she will be taking over our TikTok with all of your favorite brinetastic content for the Pickle Palooza

She may even take funny video requests, although we just thought of that right now without telling her so maybe not.

A couple of fun facts about Sydney:
-She once dressed up as a Sasquatch for a party and got everyone dancing. 💃 (no, we do not have a photo of this unfortunately)

-She stays strapped with a jar of pickles AT ALL TIMES 🥒 (we heard it's Grillo's, this seems like a perfect sponsorship opportunity, just saying)

We're super stoked to announce we'll be teaming up with and for the Pickle Palooza on September 21st! 😍

Chick Fil A will have its own booth and will be providing their delicious food for festival goers (with extra pickles of course) 🥒

We're also working on getting the official Chick Fil A cow mascot out to the festival to enjoy some shenanigans with Dillbert, from the , and a few other mascots we haven't announced yet 😉

If we can run this festival as efficiently as a Chick Fil A drive-thru, we'll be extremely happy 😊😂

Introducing our Pickleback Dancers! 🥒

First off, apologies ladies for the mid-action shot, we forgot to get an actual posed picture 😂

But the pickleback dancers will be essential to the Pickle Palooza on September 21st. We'll move them around throughout the day, but you can mostly find them on stage backing up our bands and DJs or perhaps just dancing near Dillbert, wherever he may be.

Their outfits may be a little different for the actual festival, but definitely keeping the pickle bucket hats! 🥒
