Smarty Pants will be presenting the Big Balloon Show at 3 pm right in the center of the mall — look for the giant treehouse and you’ve found the spot!

Kids have the day off from school in honor of MLK Day so come out and enjoy a family friendly show packed with magic, comedy and the biggest balloons that can fit in the mall!

I’ve spent my life making kids laugh but sometimes a kid will pull an UNO reverse card on me.

Yesterday at a 1st birthday, I was taking some photos of the balloon decor and the birthday girl’s brother asked me to take his photo, promising he’ll make “a good face”

The Amazing Kreskin passed away last week at the age of 89.

In a career that spanned nearly sixty years, his very best performance was on February 9th, 1973, at Central Auditorium in Hastings, MI.

At least, that’s what the legends say.

(I bought this original promotional poster at the annual Chicago Magicians Flea Market. It was well buried under a pile of repro Thuston posters, but like Kreskin himself,, I found the treasure.

I was sorry to hear that the Amaxing Kreskin passed away today at the age of 89. He was still performing his mentalism show until his death.

A few years back, I traded a birthday party for this wonderful original art created by for a Kreskin show in St Charles, IL - it’s had a place in my office ever since!

The Great Buck Howard was a great movie based unofficially on Kreskin’s career, perhaps it’s time for another watch.
