Somebody Scream - NY Bringing the best Cajun and Zydeco bands to the Hudson Valley All donations go to pay for the hall rental and expenses for the band.

We are a volunteer, not-for-profit group working to create a community of fun-loving people who enjoy Cajun and zydeco music. The standard times for our events are:
Fridays or Saturdays: Dance lesson at 7pm; music from 8-11:30pm
Sundays: Dance lesson at 5pm; music from 6-9:30pm

We support all local Cajun and Zydeco events. If you want to find out more about other local events in the Nort

Gone far too soon. 😢 We had the pleasure of hosting Joe Hall at two Swamp in the City festivals over the years. Joe was a phenomenal Cajun/Creole accordion player and an equally wonderful and kind soul. In the words of Herman Fuselier: “Joe kept it Creole, learning at the feet of the creators, like Bois Sec Ardoin and Nolton Simien. But spreading the roots of zydeco allowed Joe to play and teach all over the country… Bien merci pour ta musique et les histoires.” Rest in peace, dear Joe. ❤️
