So my first attempt and baking a cake today and doing buttercream round the outside (no icing) I’m quite pleased with it but need a lot more practice! I thought I’d decorate it with a balloon garland and a flamingo. Hope you like it.

It was my son Marco’s birthday during lockdown and I always like to have a lovely cake for the kids on their birthdays. With all the restrictions and not being able to have a party for him I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a cake so I decided to decorate my own. The balloon garland really made it look special so I wanted to make packs so that others can do this too. Hope you like them 🎈
