It is that time of year again, you know where I have a million things running through my head gearing up for the one week we work all year for 🤪. My girls are with these pigs everyday from the second they are born, this really is an all year project for them.
They have been out and about the last couple days promoting the 4H/FFA livestock sale. Going to several businesses by themselves, talking to owners and managers (which is very much out of their comfort zone).

All of these kids work so hard, not only feeding and caring for their animals but also training and bonding with them. Selling and saying goodbye is by far the hardest part but knowing these animals had the best life is the most important lesson there is. Yes they end up food in the end but compassionate farming, animal health, welfare, and care are all top priorities that are taught to these kids. So if you have never been to the auction and need a great way to fill your freezer, please come support them! Help make all their work worth it!
The world needs more farmers especially ones like these kids ❤.

When wedding season is done, its right back to ranching season! But no matter what time of year it is still the most amazing sunsets! The theme with weddings these days tend to be quick, minimal, and with as few people as possible.... don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that! But around here we love to make it last as long as possible! Make it a wedding weekend instead of just a wedding day! Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th! We enjoyed all@the festivities our little town has to offer! Firemans, pancake, breakfast, parade, and rodeo! We opted out of the downtown nighttime party and settled for a Bbq and our own private show at the venue/ranch with our friends that are like family! It was a Great holiday! 🇺🇸🎆❤️
