Felt for a crunchy treat today. Made tostones and Maduras (smashed plantain). They are so loved by my family. We enjoy them as is, as snack or appetizer with homemade dipping sauce whether it be plantbased mayo-ketchup and garlic or a fresh garlic mojo. Plantains are part of our culture and are woven into our Caribbean culinary history. Making tostones and maduras is easy, crispy, savory, delicious and fun. In my house if I’m not careful I will not get any. I’m so happy I can share a photo with you. You should try it!
