A few safety reminders for participants and spectators:
✔️ Entries to parade route will be limited starting at 8:30 am
✔️Please drive slow ⚠️
✔️Monitor children during the parade as some float drivers cannot see small children

Thank you thank you thank you to everyone that got out in that freezing weather to put on a show for the kiddos. It was definitely a good show. We had over 30 entries and they were all awesome. We are super appreciative for you all. It was great to see the community come together for the kids.

Thank you to all the departments that made that effort to put a float in. It makes our community that much closer.

Tonights winners of the best overall float are the "Mescalero Boys and Girls Club" WOOHOO!!!! You guys are awesome.

Thank you to the family of the lat "Paco Bigmouth" for donating the trophy.

Thank you Jordan Torres for making the trophy. It was awesome!!

We hope to see everyone again for the 4th if July parade.

Good Morning,

Today is the day. Hope to see everyone out there tonight at 530. Please be safe and dress warm. Please look out for pedestrians and onlookers. It will be dark and a little more difficult to see so please keep a close eye on your kiddos. We certainly don't want any accidents. We look forward to a fun evening with a lot of candy and Christmas lights.

Also if you want to get into the parade last minute, it is completely fine. I have received quite few calls today so we are telling everyone it is ok to enter last minute.

Reminder that the Christmas Light Parade is this Friday at 5:30ish. Please get your entry form sent back in if you haven't already done so. We will accept them through the day of the parade. Good evening everyone. Just two more days and the 42nd Annual Mescalero Ceremonial Parade will be here. Were pretty excited!! We would like to put out a little bit more info regarding the parade and also give you a peak at the trophies!!

Saturday July 2nd (Parade Day)

830am- Registration and line up will begin

9am- Parade route will be closed down, Parade Committee along with law enforcement and conservation office will begin to block roads along Parade route.

10am- Parade will start below the ceremonial grounds and end in the chiricuahua plaza. Approximately 1.5 miles long. The judges stand will be located in front of the Housing Warehouse, roughly a mile from the start point.

230pm- Parade committee will announce winners at the ceremonial grounds.

We want the public to know that once the registration and line up begin that we will not allow any vehicles other than float entries into the line up. We need all the space we can get in the line up area. If you have someone that is being dropped off, we ask that you please do so from the side of highway 70 east of the line up area. We also ask that you please cooperate and respect our requests. This is a large task to take on and we want everyone to enjoy the parade and also be safe.

We ask that everyone attending please help keep the parade route (roadway) as clear as possible, we do not want the parade to stop at any point.

Please help keep our reservation beautiful by not littering. Let's make this a memorable parade!!!

Good morning all,
Very thankful for all this 🌧. The parade is just a few days away. Reminder that we will be accepting applications until the day of. Also to those that already submitted an entry form, the line up will begin at 830am and the parade begins at 10am sharp. Please be there as soon as you can. The line up is a crucial time for the parade. The registration booth will be located at arrow drive off of highway 70. Also please keep in mind the weather, we are hoping for nice clear weather however it is our monsoon season so rain can happen. Please be prepared for both. We are looking forward to a great parade. Good evening Mescalero,

Thank you for accepting the invite to the Mescalero Parade. We (Parade Committee)started planning for the 42nd annual parade about a month ago. We had decided to do a contest for the theme this year and it was a success. We received 4 entries which by the way were all good ones. The committee selected one tonight. The theme for this years parade will be “Every child matters”. We would like to thank everyone that submitted an entry, we appreciate it.
