Our Princess Laura
Fell asleep 17 years ago today.

When we are weary and in need of strength,
When we are lost and sick at heart — we remember her.
When we have a joy we long to share,
When faced with hard decisions,
When our achievements echo hers — we remember her.

At the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter,
At the opening of buds and the return of spring — we remember her.
In the pinkness of skies and the warmth of summer,
In the rustling of leaves and the beauty of autumn — we remember her.
At the rising of the sun and its setting — we remember her.

As long as we live, she too shall live,
For she is a part of us — always
As we remember her.

Laura was always there to guide us.
We will forever feel our pink angel and the comfort of her wings.

We love you.

Fourteen years ago tonight John was taken tragically from us all.
We have been friends
For as long as I can remember,
We never have to make amends
Since the beginning we have been true friends.
In my thoughts always pal.
You were the fifth MacKenzie brother in our family. xx

If only the hands of time could stop for a while,
but that will never happen not for me or anyone for life goes on and on.
There are moments that mark your life, moments when you realise nothing will ever be the same. And time is divided into two parts Before and After.
When we are in need of comfort
We walk down memory lane,
There we see you smiling
We talk with you again,
And as we wander slowly back
We seem to hear you say
Don't grieve. don't cry,

Funny affectionate lovable & spirited right to her last day

Heartbroken devastated & lost without her

Our daughter Laura & her fur baby Jess back together again

Every minute someone leaves this world behind.
We're all in "the queue" without knowing it.
We will never know how many people are ahead of us.
We can't move to the bottom of the row.
We can't get out of line.
We can't avoid the queue.
So while we wait in line.
Make the moments count!
Make priorities.
Make the time.
Let your qualities be known.
Make people feel important.
Make your voice heard.
Make big things out of small things.
Make someone smile.
Make the change.
Make love.
Make Peace.
Get it together.
Make sure you tell your people you love them.
Make sure you have no regrets.
Make sure you're ready.

Live life and let live, enjoy, be grateful don't waste time arguing, fighting in doing bad things life is short, live it, be humble, love yourself and be happy with what you have.

18 years ago today our Princess Laura was diagnosed with lung cancer . That was the day our lives changed for ever her fight started, she was inspired to raise awareness for Lung cancer & to not be a statistic . She was the most courageous & determined young woman & we cherish all our memories of her forever x+ x+ x our fight still continuous.

One day, the road ends.

The dishes sit untouched in the sink,
The TV hums to no one,
The book remains open,
its final page never turned.

The road ends.

Clothes still hang in the closet,
Sheets neatly folded,
The house in perfect order,
As if time itself paused.

The road ends.

Slippers rest by the door,
A table set for a meal never had,
Cold coffee lingers in a forgotten cup,
A portrait gathers dust,
A to-do list on the fridge left unfinished.

The road—my road—ends.

Yet, the world continues.

Spring will return with new blossoms,
The seasons will change without me,
Departures and arrivals will persist,
Laughter will echo in places I once stood.

There will be new love, new friendships,
New chapters written beyond my story.

Life will move forward,
Even when I no longer walk its path.

So today, as long as breath still fills my lungs,
Let my prayer be this:

If I take nothing with me,
May I leave behind something beautiful—
A memory, a kindness,
A warmth in the hearts of those I’ve met.

That, even when my road ends,
Love remains. 🌸
