We’re just one week away from the Dahlia Show at Crescent Valley Hall! 🌸 If you’re a dahlia lover, this is your chance to soak in all the stunning forms and colors these beauties have to offer. Join us on September 15th from 1 pm to 4 pm and enjoy the floral magic! 🤩

Grow dahlias and want to share your blooms? We’d love to have them! Drop me a DM with your email, and I’ll send over the details for drop-off times. You’re welcome to bring single stems for display or create your own arrangements with dahlias and other flowers—any size is welcome! 💐

We can’t wait to connect with all the dahlia enthusiasts in the area!

Our final Floral Arranging Workshop of the season is coming up this Sunday, August 25th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Don’t miss out on the fun! We still have a couple of spots available, so it’s perfect for you and a friend!

Join us to learn how we harvest our flowers, then wander through the gardens to hand-select your own blooms and create your masterpiece! We’ll guide you through the design process with a quick tutorial before letting your creativity flow. We provide all the vessels, tools, and even boxes so you can easily take your beautiful arrangement home. Plus, you’ll get printed materials with design tips to reference later.

Come enjoy a relaxing evening of flowers, laughter, and inspiration! It’s the perfect way to end your weekend, with fresh blooms to brighten up your week. 😜

I’m just LOVING the wrapped bouquets going out to our subscribers this year! So much colour and diversity. It’s been a very good growing year for me. Nice long sturdy stems and huge blooms. I couldn’t ask for more really!🤩💐

Hello, lovely people! 🌸

It’s been a while since I’ve popped on here to say “Hi!” 👋 I tend to get so wrapped up in this little flower-filled world of mine that I forget to share a bit of myself with you all. But I know how important it is to connect, and that’s something I truly cherish—connection. 💖

So, here I am, stepping out of the garden for a moment to introduce myself! I’m Aimee, the quirky flower (and cat) lady behind Die Blüte. 😹🌸 I’m an extroverted introvert who adores anime, Star Trek (Next Generation, of course), karaoke, music, animals, and—no surprise here—flowers! 🌼 You’ll often find me lost in nature or geeking out over the latest bloom in my garden. 😍

I’m also a big softie, full of compassion (maybe a little too much for this wild world). But I believe in the power of a smile and try to share one with everyone I meet. 😊

Die Blüte was born out of love for my flower-loving father, who passed away in 2018. His spirit is with me in every bloom, and my darling husband and I now care for the garden on his former property. While I handle the workshops, flower subscriptions, and custom floral designs, he’s my biggest supporter in all things green and growing. 💐

Mornings often find me in my housecoat, dragging hoses around the garden while my coffee grows cold—but I wouldn’t have it any other way. 😂 I’m a proud flower nerd and dahlia addict, with absolutely no regrets.💐 Every time I connect with someone through flowers, it lights me up and reminds me why I chose this path. My goal is simple: to spread joy and love, one petal at a time. 🌻

Sign up for our August Dahlia Bouquet subscriptions is now open! Choose between 3 or 4 weeks, with pickup at Playmor Junction or delivery to Nelson and along Hwy 3A. This time, we’re offering delivery to your door! Check out the details on our website.👀

💐 Each bouquet will feature our favorite flower, dahlias, plus a variety of other floral friends, wrapped in a paper sleeve for protection. Expect lush, large bouquets (we don’t do small 😂).

Our dear friend Alana of @clay.by.alanarae was recently diagnosed with melanoma. She had to have a large section of her cheek removed and grafted with skin from her chin. Additionally, her lymph nodes were removed for testing, and traces of cancer were found, meaning she needs further treatment.😓 This sudden and scary situation is especially challenging for Alana, as she is self-employed and shares her life with her partner Jaymes and their 3-year-old daughter, Penny. My amazing friend @novemberwild has organized a fundraiser auction event on June 5th from 6pm-8pm, with donations from many wonderful businesses. The offerings are truly exceptional! Die Blüte is providing a 3-week dahlia subscription, plus a ranunculus and anemone bouquet to enjoy right after the auction closes. The event will be fantastic, with treats, drinks, great music, and even better vibes.✨🌻 All proceeds will go towards Alana’s healing journey.❤️🌈 Please come out and show your support!
