CONFETTI SHOTS

It’s such an important part of the wedding day. Most likely the first time your guests see you both as a married couple! A huge moment for everyone and a perfect chance to capture that joy… But how do you make sure to get ‘that shot’!?

The best confetti shots are planned, so make sure you plan yours. Make sure your wedding planner or bridal party know where the baskets of confetti are so they’re handed out efficiently and at the right time. Most importantly make sure your photographer / videographer have it in their schedule and now where it’s happening!

From experience, I would say the best confettis are those big dried petals / biodegradable paper confetti cannons - They flutter down slowly to give the perfect confetti shot

Make sure your guests stand in two lines nice and close to each other so when you walk down the middle, the confetti actually reaches you and you have all those happy faces in the background of your photos! 

Last but not least, make sure you take it all in (the moment, not the confetti in your mouth…), keep your heads up and enjoy!

I get asked quite a lot what a charger plate is…
This is a charger plate! A bit of extra pizzaz… Necessary on any table 🤭

They’re surprisingly versatile… You can use them to weight down stationery in a windy marquee or purely to add a little detail to a beautiful tablescape 🫶🏼

I love the sound of bagpipes anyway, but as a bride and groom’s entry to the drinks reception, it’s so effective!!!
Managing crowds is an important skill in my job, but it’s a pleasure when the bagpipes do it for me! 😂 (or the MC! Another pleasure!)

2023 is a big year for me too!

It’s under 5 months until we tie the knot 🤍

So, to you engaged couples starting to think “s*** it’s coming round quick”… I get it!

But don’t let the new year panic you - It will all be okay.

Focus on the details one at a time, and it will all come together.

Thankful for my gorgeous 2023 and 2024 clients for hiring, old clients and industry friends for recommending me and all of you for supporting me.

🖤Go for a drive🤍
Something I always advise my couples to make the most of on their wedding day… Time together!
The day goes by in a flash, so anything you can do to get some alone time, I’m all for it!
How about taking a chilled bottle of champers and park up somewhere nice for 20mins (Don’t worry booze police, they won’t drink and drive!) and have a little debrief?
You won’t be missing out on anything… It takes a while for guests to arrive, get drinks and settle in… So by the time you arrive, everyone is ready to cheer you in! 🥂 🎉

All this rain recently has been reminding me of H&H’s wedding - The rain had absolutely no impact on their day, in fact, I’d say it made it even better…
The umbrellas made great photos, guests put the flip flops on early and everyone danced the night away with torrential rain making rivers down clear roof ❤️ It’s a wedding I will always remember
