Joining us for the seventh instalment of the Vertigo mix series is a Boorloo favourite DJ & Producer 3RAS3R.

3RAS3R has quickly become one of our favourite local acts with a mixing and production style that varies from house and techno to experimental dubstep, crafting a truly unique sound within the Boorloo music scene.

With years of experience under their belt heavyweights such as ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U and a work rate and determination like no other, we’re so happy to get the chance to showcase an hour of their amazing work.

Joining us for our first mix of the new year is Boorloo up and comer Bork. A key member of the Vertigo team Bork/George has a few years behind the decks under his belt but has come into his own in 2023. With his first few club gigs under his belt with an all-time opener at Vertigo Presents: Hannah D, Bork is ready to take on 2024 with his festival debut at this weekend’s Deep Bush alongside Larry D (8 pm Friday, be there).

Hannah D is a DJ and artist originating from Meanjin (Brisbane), now residing in Naarm (Melbourne) — a city with a dedicated electronic music community that sees her as a go-to for progressive sounds. Through both her music and delicately blended mixes, Hannah has created a tangible connection with new-age revivalists of the 90s and 00s sound around the globe.

Hannah’s sonic output draws inspiration from both the people and places that surround her. The influence of the wavy, euphoric tones amongst the natural Australian landscape with a group of friends is what has formed the DJ and label head she is today.

VERTIGO RECORDS 003 | PERSONAL GROWTH (Meanjin)

Joining us for our newest mix we have Personal Growth.

Originally from Boorloo, Personal Growth has made an impact in Brisbane/Meanjin as the Label boss of Eternal Love Records.

We got the chance to chat with Personal Growth about this heater of a mix:

‘With this mix, I wanted to showcase a few upcoming releases on the label. and really put an emphasis on the sounds I’m heading towards with both myself and Eternal Love. This was the first mix I’ve done in a while that I really had no plan at all behind it, I knew there were a few tracks that I wanted to play but everything else was pretty much unplanned. You can expect to hear some unreleased Idle Air, Ovid & Young Muscle alongside a few other offerings from artists that I’m really excited to hear more from like Sloucho and BFTT’
