Well that was the BEST #takeaway ever! Full of flavour, variety, comfort……Great menu choice! Amazing catering! Beautiful venue! I’m not talking food….I’m talking about #TheAwakening at Theodore House in the most stunning grounds of @stonyhurstofficial ……..I guess I knew today was going to be a #goodday The route to the grounds was peaceful, serene, pretty and I saw cows! I love cows and nature…also saw magpies, Canada geese, ducks and a squirrel. Grounded in nature at the start of the day anything else would be a bonus. Lisa Edge Amanda Green you gave us everything we needed today! So many bonuses! A truly uplifting, say it how it is, be raw, be true, be you kind of day. No corporate BS just a room filled with beautiful souls, all aligned in thought and life journeys, genuinely trying to be better at life. So lovely to meet so many wonderful humans…some not spoken to in a while, some not met before but no doubt will be a big part of the journey forward. So great to spend the day learning, listening, being inspired by Lisa Edge Amanda Green Amal Loring Andi Lewis Cheryle Britton Lotte Mikkelsen Jen Grange Lee Irving - lovely to chat with Andy Henderson Sara Hayselden Karen Wilson Jodie Marie Rigby (MBA) 🦙 Celia Gaze 🦙 Loraine Atkin and so many others….Wow just wow….totally inspired, enthused, re-energised….so much positive energy in one room. It takes a lot of #resilience #perserverance #encouragement to keep following your dreams in this line of work. It is so incredibly hard for #unsignedbands #unsignedtalent to get a foot through the door, to be seen and get their music heard.
It’s so great to see more #independentrecordlabel forming given the battles to get #newbands #airplayradio as often #commercialradiostation are so hard to even get anyone to respond to a request.
The whole industry needs to change to give more young people a chance.
We are trying our best to do what we can for our young musicians here in #blackpool
If anyone reading this has any slots to fill on any #festivals #gigs #summerconcerts coming up do get in touch. There are many talented bands who need to be seen and heard, given opportunities and we all need to work together to achieve this.
