At every wedding I hear “that’s our wedding coordinator, she has been running around like crazy” as I am walking by to fix something or talk to someone. Most weddings I get atleast 15k steps in (don’t worry- I have comfortable shoes on 😅) We do not have the space to explain all the things we do on your way day to make sure it runs smoothly, but here are a few: -Set up personal decor. -Make sure everything is ready for guests (including making sure pens work and are ready). -Checking seating charts and chair counts. -Confirming floor plan -Checking on the bride and groom (making sure they have had water and something to eat) -Getting the wedding license and tips ready for vendors. -Answering any questions people may have. I’ve shown y’all rehearsals in the backyard, at a venue, and here is another way- the morning of!
My bride and groom lived 3 hours away and most of their guests were flying in the night before. Only their wedding party was walking in, which is ideal for day of practicing.
While the bride was getting her make up and hair done we snuck out for a quick 20 minute practice.
Everyone nailed the timing and it went so smoothly.
Is this my first choice? No. Did we make it work? Absolutely we did. I do my very best to be flexible to what the bride and groom need.
Everyone got down the aisle perfectly timed.

I had the opportunity to do a walk through for a wedding I’m assisting at @chandelierofgruenevenue. Love love love this venue. They did such a great job paying attention to every detail. From the perfect white chapel, to the bride suite and the groom suite (nope they didn’t forget the guys!) to the outdoor space, everything is perfect.
This venue is huge, it can hold up to 500 guests, has spaces both inside and outside, more than enough parking, and an outdoor space that makes you want to stay all night.
Sometimes it’s not feasible to have your wedding rehearsal at your venue. When this happens we find some where else to practice. I’ve had rehearsals in restaurants, back yards, parks, etc and we always make it work.
