3D printing props, trophies and whatever else you might be interested in!
07/04/2021
Fired up the resin printers and have a few merchant tier patreons in the mix for some absolutely stunning items!
03/02/2021
Next on the build plate will be Lantern, the strange Xenos pistol of the primarch Mortarion.
04/01/2021
Tie Fighter helmet fresh off the print bed. It's in 2 parts and still needs a bundle of TLC before it's ready.
Helmet is a trophy piece for an upcoming tournament!
16/12/2020
Starting to include busts to my line of items. This one is getting shipped out to the UK this evening!
07/12/2020
Back to getting some props printed again. Pulse rifle from ALIEN.
10/03/2020
One sword for you, and one sword for me!
Yesterday I completely 2 project prints. The Ultramarine Gladius, and the Space wolves Frost Sword!
06/03/2020
Update on my 2 current projects. A Frost Sword, and a Gladius!
04/03/2020
We've got a Frost Sword printing right now, and a Gladius on deck! 2 hellblades in line for assembly!
28/02/2020
MORE DESIGNS!!!! UGE CHOPPA is still a WIP, but looks to be a very awesome weapon when it's done!
21/02/2020
I re-scaled my chainsword. Some of the detail panels are printing right now. I'm pretty happy with the blade, but I think the handle is too small. I may adjust and re-print it.
This was a 2 day print, for the small amount of details on the bulk of the body, I'm working on a different process that will allow for faster printing.
20/02/2020
The bolt pistol print seems to be a success. Though the time/materials to print the large blocky style of marine tech has me considering some alternative methods to speed up production even more.
The hellblade is coming together well, and might just be my favorite print so far. I think today I'll get a dark eldar sword mocked up!
19/02/2020
A good day for both chaos, and Imperium! A hell blade and a grey knights halberd. The halberd is designed to have wooden or PVC rod for the majority of the length.
05/02/2020
The chainsword is just about ready for printing!
04/02/2020
Completed commission for some warlord titan weapons. These are not my designs, though there was a LOT of work to be done on the larger weapons to make them print ready!
04/02/2020
Despite the name it's not 100% just props. I also will be creating handy dandy gameplay assist items such as movement trays, terrain and stands for flying minis.
Here is an example of my KO fleet on the improved sturdy stands. No glue or magnets needed!
20/01/2020
Grey Knights Force Sword is complete and prints like a charm!
I gotta paint a few of these!
17/01/2020
Second bolter printed! I've got them printing in about 3 days across 4 prints. I'll likely have to tweak the files and do a little more work before they are 100% good to go.
17/01/2020
Printed a Quake cannon for a warlord titan. File is from Thingiverse, though it needed some TLC before it could print properly.
09/01/2020
The first bolter is hot off the press!
09/01/2020
Part of a smaller sized model commission. Printing 4 warlord titan weapons on the Ender 3 for a client.
06/01/2020
So far these are all of the items I have made and am working on.

Side by side view of my bolter collection so far.
Black - Purchased STL from Nikko Industries, Awesome dude who does awesome work.
White - From a patreon that I wish I could find to re-sub
Blue - My design, but only 1/3rd of the body printed so far.
Quick side by side tells me that my bolter will be the bulkiest while attempting to stay the same size. This pleases me quite a bit. After printing one of the white ones for a friend, I learned how hard it was to magnetize the magazine. I modified my file to make room for 2 half inch rare earth magnets. Removable magazine is purely thematic, but something people want.
My 3D gloop arrives today and I'll be glueing it together. Between high quality adhesive and 3mm steel rods, this will be an exceptionally tough prop.
17/12/2019
Power axe print for a client and a Fyrslayer axe for myself!
12/11/2019
I'm working on a new bolter with different proportions. All that is left is the handle and assembly!
12/11/2019
Not so much as a prop, but my Photon printer is back up and running. I printed a space marine at 2x size, just to say I could!
07/11/2019
I've got a new and improved bolter file I'm working on. Much larger, and higher detailed than any of the others I've worked with. Estimated combined print time is roughly 110 hours over 3 prints.
07/11/2019
On a much smaller scale, the resin printer is back up and running again.
05/11/2019
Currently working on trophies for a large Age of Sigmar tournament!
Concept on the left, finished print on the right. I've reinforced the sword with a steel rod running down into the skull pile. Figuring out the best way to print to get the highest quality can sometimes lead to large amounts of assembly and cleanup, but it's worth it when the finished product is this nice!
A little insight on the work that goes into a simple looking design like this. as the concept is simply 3 models stacked up on top of each other.
The first step is to ensure your objects are exactly the size you intend them to be, and stay that size through various programs. Next, I brought the skull pile and sword into Blender, where I subtracted the skull from the sword, allowing me to print them separate and attach them later. I then created a 2.2mm hole running down the blade from the top of the grip. This would be where the metal rod is placed. I ran this hole through the entire skull pile as well.
The next step is to cut the sword in two parts. I use a program called LuBan3D for my larger prop prints, and it worked famously with a smaller model like this. Slicing the sword exactly in half without any detail loss.

Hammer of Sigmar, desk sized. I printed 4 of these, cleaned them up and painted them gold for a local tournament.
05/11/2019
The trophies I did for the Texas Trios event earlier this year. each set of 3 connects to form one big trophy.
05/11/2019
It's not all big prints though. My resin printer was churning out some good results, but I hit rut and am currently troubleshooting it. These things are moody!
05/11/2019
My current pet project is a manreaper from Death Guard!
05/11/2019
Group shot of various weapons I've printed out and just have lying around the house!
05/11/2019
Some time ago I printed out a set of tiny space marine helmets for display and gifts to those I had exceptionally fun games of 40k with. They were a huge hit!
05/11/2019
Human sized bolter for my Space Wolves cosplay!
05/11/2019
Some assorted terrain from printablescenery.com
They make great stuff and it looks absolutely amazing! In between commissions I am working on a daemon table for myself!
05/11/2019
Previous local commission for a power sword and laspistol. Assembled, but unpainted. The power pack on the last pistol is magnetized for easy removal.
05/11/2019
My largest project yet. A suit of space marine armor! I've been printing this on and off for about 6 months. One shoulder pad takes about 2 days to print due to the size and infill structure. I print it with high infill for durability. All that is left now are the legs, feet, and powerpack.
As well as for me to lose a bit of weight! lol
