My father died 3,5 months ago.
I found a sticker of that drive-in time and had to rebuild it to something of my own.

I think this is my first mashup I made which now is released on DMC Mixpack EP 35.

The DJ name was not correctly written, but I changed this at Discord (https://www.discogs.com/release/28380613-Various-DMC-Mixpack-EP-35).
This mashup was broadcasted on many stations that time. Holland (Radio538, Radio 3, Veronica(Ben Liebrand) and across the border too ;-)

I am remaking my best mashup in Ableton now. First the remake, then maybe some improvements ;-)
This mashup is originally made in 2002 with Magix Music Maker.
I used only mp3's in 2002. Now in 2023 I have a multitrack of Madonna and better quality audio for all elements. Really great to rebuild this one.

I was planning to make 3 yearmixes last year. The usual yearmix, a Hardstyle version and The Global Dance Charts Edition.
We all know what happened with the hardstyle version, so.....

I doubted whether I wanted to make the GDC yearmix. But blood is thicker than water and I started after a while. Even though the period has ended. I made it anyway. The mix is ​​in the final stage. 125 tracks 93 minutes. Only GDC tracks. Of the 158 selected tracks that have been in the GDC top 40 this year, I used 125.
So, almost 80% of the tracks in this mix were used in the version as they appeared in the GDC Top 40. So no special remixes were used, but only a few acapellas ;-)

Maybe online soon ;-) Be patient.
