BRAIDAL 🌸 CAMPAIGN

All the feels! 😍😍😍😍

It was important for us to include a flower girl in this campaign as we know just how many children are left, at "best" with negative experiences, at worst traumatic ones, when it comes to their hair in weddings.

Heartbreakingly often, the cause of debates, conditions and ultimatums and it must stop. Let it stop with us. Let it stop with you.

Braids/cornrows/cainrows are a beautiful form of creative expression and actually a really great, efficient style which can help with planning and minimise the amount of styling required on the big day.

Ebonie Blush Beautique worked her magic on our model Jaya the day before the shoot, as she had the other models' hair to braid on set.

Absolutely no heat is necessary. The moisturised hair was prepped by brushing it out and stretching it via loose chunky twists before the braiding began. Incorporate our dried floral crowns and the results are breathtaking. 💐👑

We are delighted to finally share with you the images from our campaign.

We created this important hair and beauty campaign in partnership with the unbelievably talented Ebonie Blush Beautique who was on hair and makeup. (Their Christmas bookings just opened- be quick!)

The purpose of this campaign is to show the beauty and ease of braids in weddings and to dispel the stigma around them not being "suitable" or "desirable" as a wedding hairstyle.

This as well as providing some much needed representation and inspo for our black brides to be, across the globe.

We are of course also showcasing some pieces from our new wedding hair accessory collection, such as new bespoke floral crowns (created exclusively for us by the wonderful Mama Bear & Co) and our world famous grande luxe scrunchies.

We have much more planned via shoots of varying scale but for now, take in the beauty of braids, natural hair and black women because they absolutely do belong in weddings. 👑➰👰🏿
