I attended a pre-discussion about the social and mental well-being of military veterans. Then proceeded to the live performance of "A Few," Good Men," written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Adam Twiss for The Justice Theater Project. This military genre was confrontational just like our country, powerful, and looks at the military code of conduct in our armed services of the United States. It was provocative in the handling of the military court-martial system and political roulette that involved other officers. I salute all veterans past and present for your service! The cast stood at attention in "parade rest," for a good length of time! I waited to see if they would get weary! I watched their eyes to see if they wandered around the room! Veterans served our country to protect us and we the U.S. citizens need to make sure we serviced your needs. The transition back to civilian life is not smooth. Civilians will not understand your need for working as a team, promptness of time and why your order of life and way of thinking is the norm. Special thanks to the veterans in the discussion group!
