Our very own is the founder of the Bussdown Collective. Born & raised in Vallejo CA, he is a man of many diverse talents coming from the most diverse city in the US.

A veteran DJ and party promoter with 10+ years of experience, Joog has set out to build a lasting legacy in the Bay Area and beyond. As a DJ, Joog takes inspiration from clubs and cultures from around the world, finding the common threads we share, and bringing those influences with him back home.

DJ Joog has performed in 3 countries, opening for some notable acts, including Mr. Eazi, DJ Sliink, WEV, Sasha Marie, Lakim & playing in notable venues such as 1015 Folsom, Crybaby Oakland & Elsewhere in Brooklyn.

For the coming years, Joog looks to bring Bussdown Collective around the world and continue a legacy of cultural exchange thru Music, Fashion, Food & Wine, as well as building up the Bay Area as a cultural hub.

Introducing our newest team member 🎉

Darling Cool is a musically eclectic DJ and aspiring music producer making fresh and meaningful waves in the Bay Area music scene. You can catch her selecting classics, deep cuts, remixes, and edits across various genres of music—with an emphasis on sharing sounds influenced by her Nigerian and German roots, her California birth place, and her Midwestern upbringing.

She loves playing soulful tracks inspired by the house, R&B, and rock music that her mother and father, a rock photographer and a funk bassist, raised her on.

She's a member of Bussdown Collective and Ladies 1st DJ Club Bay Area, and a curator of Butter alongside Emelle—an anything and everything and everywhere sound party.

She's also the founder of Black Girls Link Up, a quarterly meetup event series in Oakland designed to highlight creative Black women and provide a safe space for them to come together and celebrate one another.
