13yr olds Jaxson and Koby working efficiently 'together' both getting their load reads on my pre-arm movement. The hitter on the right is on a One Ball Tee Drill meaning make the baseball come right back to the tee by hitting it up the box off the LScreen. If they get out around it, muscle up, get chesty, pop it up, etc etc, they then must go retrieve the ball and bring back for only ONE ball can be used and it forces the hitter to place more of a sense of urgency with eyes on the ball, hands inside, back knee-hip driven with balance....
The hitter on the left is getting 'off-center front toss' forcing the hitter to Stay on Plane and On The Ball....
With this format, we get efficient reps in to begin the Cage portion of the session with the 2on1 training...
#9eliteTraining
13yr old Jaxson Marchand working Up The Box front toss.. We place a Large Yellow Softball on a Tee 50feet up the middle and the goal of the hitter is to remain inside the ball working the swing right back up the middle of the field, therefore we hit the ball driving it into the Yellow Softball on the Tee.... Jaxson executes the swing here knocking the softball off the tee, much to the delight of Koby Trahan giving us the 'Rump Shaker' front and center at the end of the video.....
Got to love Baseball Guys right? Lol

Young Texas Stix player Casey Beard, getting his reps in, trying to neurologically find that back hip with a conscious managed effort. As you will see in the video we are working to be completely under control start to finish, being smooth, on each cage swing, having the awareness loosening the grip, the hands, dissecting the elbows and shoulders, bypassng the pecs and shoulders that will want to give assistance to make sure the back hip comes into its role of the Swing... We are trying to get that hip to identify itself all on its on...
If there is failure of getting the back hip to cooperate, then we instantly go into a "hip drill' to wake up that midget within that controls muscle memory and timing, allowing the pitched ball to travel deeper forcing a shorter barrel route and hip working to drive the ball....
Keep strengthening the body away from the cages kid, focus on the legs, abs, mid-section separation, and balance; which is controlled specifically by the core and the intrinsic-stabilizing muscles throughout the body.
For those who thing the "Hitting Fairy" will fly in that bedroom window with her wond at 3am while you sleep, throw down some dust and throw down a lil word or two, WAKE UP, Cause she aint coming.
You MUST Work away from the park period guys, and proud of how far this guy has come along with that aspect of the overall swing... Attakid Case!!!

Second session in with this young'n and he is progressing quiet well,
Quintin came in needing overall leg and core strength to 'manage the violence' for which he was creating...
He is learning how the body links itself and works when producing a quality. consistent swing and doing very well progressing getting results already off the bat barrel in the cage....
Love the Stretch aspect as long as it doesn't lengthen the barrel path nor distract the plane path..
Stay committed kid to those abs and legs...
Keep working away from the micro-managing with private instruction or by the coaches at practice.
Learn to take the 'ownership' and Grind it kid,.,
Stay committed to improving that strength while you are at home....
Looking Good and Smashin em Big Q...

'Tine Time'
12yr old lefty hitting middle infielder from Gladiator Baseball, working that swing...
Tine Hampshire, breaking away from the robotic mechanical mental swing and trying to "Find his Flow' by just dominating the ball and not being protective in the swing fearing any mechanical breakdowns...

Its so enjoyable when a hitter returns and I get to see first hand the ownership taken by the athlete, improving himself away from instruction and guidance. To see the advancement a hitter has acquired when overall body strength has entered into the kinetic link.
The adjustments needed tonight were 'Spacing in the Feet' allowing the back hip to loosen, work and lead the swing... He walked in tonight upright, front side pulling the backside and within 90minutes of some side work drills with the balance board, trampoline, one leg balance drills, he then piece together that 'stretch' with some separation. Doing non-swing action drills to identify and letting the body 'feel' the necessary aspects needed for contact, lift, and power.
Great Job tonight by Evoshields 14yr old middle infielder / catcher Drake Varnado.
(Sorry Mom for keeping him with me past 10pm), but oh was it so well worth the 2.5hrs of hitting time.

Hardin Jefferson 3-Sport Soph athlete. Justin Smith getting reps in before his college workout tomorrow over at Lamar University.
Welcome onto 9elite, Houstonian, 11yr old, Brooks Boudreaux.
FIRST OFF, Is that a quality Baseball Name or what?
Brooks plays 3rd(well duh his name is Brooks) as well as Catcher.
His aptitude and ability to take in the info and put into motion with ''The Feel'' is outstanding for a kid so young. We worked very well together and we are now trying to develop that lower leg strength(and balance) so we can get a tad more spacing in his feet at ''Geaux Time' 'which will saturate him in those legs and then BOOM let the Leverage World begin for this guy...
Every hitter has a physical inadequacy, so we identify that or those aspects when they swing by the naked eye as well as video with 2 cameras.
Then we move over into the "Development Lane". We get our development in with so so many drills and variations of those drills, using equipment such as a trampoline, med balls, jump ropes, kettle bells, straps, bands, balance board, light bats, heavy bats, punching bags, ankle weights, wrist weights, pushing the athlete through core work, Separation Work, balance work, hip ignition drills, hand-eye work, and much more before we ever step foot back into the cage....
Quality Session today Brooks...

''9e Training'' Youth Baseball Camp with Special Guest, ex player, now current US Marine, Jordan Darnall Jordan speaks to the kids and parents about how lessons learned playing baseball during his youth, high school, summer travel ball, and Jr College baseball days, prepared him for some of the most extreme and intense challenges he has faced with the US Marine Corp...
Turn the volume up for there is a slight distant echo, but gets better as he continues to discuss a very challenging military exercise, designed for them to 'fail' yet they got through 3 mountains, freezing weather, wounded personnel, others who broke mentally, yet they continued to 'Grind it' and complete the mission that was laid out before them...
Listen to his Message discussing the importance of TEAM, that EVERYBODY MATTERS on a TEAM period!
Stay tuned to the next video about "Face Your Fears' and how he accomplished the Fear of Heights and the Fear of Drowning...
Pretty Intense Stuff, and 9elite Thanks Jordan for his time to share HIS Journey, and for his Service to our Country...

And heres one of our Houston guys, Jack Riedel Houston Memorial.
Met 3 years ago while working at Marucci and have enjoyed the relationship with him and his family ever since...
Straight A student, class kid, VERY solid Shortstop, and his hit-ability and tools are already that of a dang Jr.
This kid has yet to step foot on a high school field for he is a freshman, and the future is bright.
Already getting interest from OU Sooners, TCU Horned Frogs, and more....
Got some small tinkering to do but strength and size will finish him off, plus he is working with one of the best strengths guys, my man Aaron Robinson in Houston, this kid is going to be special....
Enjoy watching this lil guy swing it...
By the way, you know your pretty well respected when a room full of top high school ballplayers and college players from UH, Rice, Baylor, Lamar, etc all sort of stop to watch your swing... Watch the guys on the side begin staring and watching... lol... Great job yesterday Jack, see you Wednesday! Stay Humble, Grind It !

The Next Good One, Hardins 018 Grad, Ryan Snell.
We have worked and come a long way up to this point.
Gifted as a hitter, not just strength wise, but with his hit-ability, improving those short arms, hands working that barrel with some whip has somewhat taken a pull heavy hitter with long arms to contact, now working the middle of the cage for as Andrew Guilllotte states, "You can only hit it so far in a cage, so focus on that entirely.
2018 Graduate, An Athletic Catcher who can perform at corner infield and outfield. Can run a sub 7 in the 60 and dishes out a 1.9 Pop time Mitt to Bag...
Nice grouping of swings and notice how we are focused, no distractions by talkers, or others training, for we do not allow it....
'9eT' 10-12u Campers getting their arm work in with some 'Turn n Burns' and radar gun readings.
Very Impressive Group and as a group did consistently well competing against themselves each time they threw to beat their readings from the time before...

Just another day of a "Grinder" putting in his 4.17% at the office....

90second S2F, 4 circuits.... Simple, non taxing warmup.
Cameron Yadon, Freshman Bridge City High... His passion for the game, attention to detail, and consistent effort is what coaches get inspired by, to show up to be with athletes like this young man...

A Grown A-s Man, Dayton Dugas Wichita St / 2016
6ft 3 220lb College Soph Outfielder who legitimately runs a 6.5 60yard dash.
This guy grew up playing 3 sports, all of which he made Varsity.
We spent time discussing hitting, and an approach, Wanted him to 'Trust & Feel' HIS Swing even more and as you can tell in this video, good looking hitter who obviously passes the Eye Test from the scouting & recruiting world...
Love being with young men such as this, for they validate so so much of what our message is to the Youth Ballplayer.
#9eliteTraining
And this guy here is 12, and when he walked in those '9e' doors Day 1, we discussed a plan, Work the Non-Negotiables in the cages, practices, but in the game just compete and trust it...
Fast forward to today and his hit-ability is growing each day.
Very proud of Tine, 12yr old, Lumberton Tx and plays for the Gladiators. #HitWithIntent

Sometimes they come in from places like Denver, Colorado...
2019 Grad, 15yr old, Colby Covney.
Started on a Thursday Evening, returned for 3 hours Friday and meey again 8am for 45min before he headed back to Houston for his flight back for Christmas Day...
From where he walked in Day 1, to this swing on this video, is nothing less than remarkable... Very studious, understands hitting, just needed a makeover from the front side yanking the hips into the zone...
Tremendous National Soccer Athlete, that can throw the barrel and Swing it also. Very Proud of this young'n!

Westbrook High 2019 grad, Cole McConnell L-L / Beaumont Gladiator for Morgan Walker and Jeff Moye.
Today, 13u Legacy Player, Jaxson Marchand, wore the proper Workout Gear...
A "9elite" Tee which I should soon have a new supply for those who have pre-paid as well as for those asking to purchase one for $20. I didn't know this many players & parents wanted to promote the program with a Tee.
I stand very appreciative of the support. Shirts will begin arriving January 10, 2017.
YOU are going to want one, don't be the one kid at practice, or the one walking in the mall, or even going to the movie theatre, better yet, in the neighborhood riding your bike, and NOT have a "9elite" Tshirt for all to see.... The Tee's Signify Work Ethic, Commitment, and traits of a Grinder for we refuse to just hand these out to just anyone because only the 9eliter's will be wearing this one of a kind TShirt.
Inbox me, email me, text me, your name, size, and color(Black, Navy, Green) and we will get your shirt in and hand to you on your next visit to train or attend a camp at the facility. #9eliteTrainingTees
THIS is part of The Game EVERY player misses when the Game ends for them... the behind the scene workouts, with the guys, having fun, boys being boys, and fortunately for 3 young 12yr olds I invited to be a part of these College guys workout, it was day in Heaven for those 3 boys... See I had 7 Division 1 NCAA College ballplayers(Baylor, UT, UH, McNeese, Northwestern and more) along with 1 professional player working their December reps, a laid back work, at ''9elite Training''. A closed door workout to the public, with the exception of the 3 dads of those 12 yr olds(they'll remember this day forever)... A must watch, is the start of the video, the young kid in the Red Shirt with me behind the LScreen.... When Baylors Kameron Esthay walked into the cage, Lil guy wanted ZERO part of that LScreen protection nonsense.. He was trying to bail before Kameron took one swing... WHY, Well you will see, the ball comes off Kamerons bat just a lil bit quicker than most hitters you see in all of baseball... The lil guy lasted 2 swings, and well... watch the video... LoL / ''9elite College Workouts''
McNeese State Sophomore Jake Cochran between semester reps in Dec 2016
Univ Houston Sophomore Outfielder Grayson Padgett Holiday Reps Dec 21 2016
Northwestern State Jr Catcher, Hunter Uzzle getting Holiday Reps with ''9elite Training''

The Young'n getting his Christmas Eve reps in and doing just fine for a small framed ball player, for its clean and he knows where the barrel is... Attakid Connor!!
14month client, 2018 grad, in town after 9emini camps, Ryan Snell, Athletic Catcher, Going to make a HUGE Splash in the College recruiting world in due time.
Class young man from a well raised family... Pretty darn good swing at this point too...

2018 Grad, working off the rust of a few minor inadequacies from previous swing... Once the foundation is set in a consistent manner, we will begin incorporating a much looser, momentum, flow of a Swing... Doing Very well overall and like where he is at this point...
14yr old, starting to tap into an "athletic, momentum" Feel, only 3rd session and doing quiet well learning who he is and the 'Feel' for which he wants to master.... As we say often, you want to make a bat lighter and full management of the barrel, then get into those legs and he is slowly getting away from the A,B,C Teachings and moving into the 'Momentum' aspect of hitting... Still some hesistation, but what a treat seeing his progression... By the way, thats a 14yr old swinging a 33inch 32oz bat in this video forcing the hands to work with a Ax and/or Sledge Hammer violence into contact... There is not a 'sweeter' sound in The Game when its squared up with a Wood..... The work and focus he has put in already is tremendous, be very proud of yourself up to this point kid, Great job Young'n.... Keep working those "Domestic Drills" at home... "9e Baseball"
