Re-fun-ded!

After the sad news of announcing the cancellation of Comic Con last week, we have been working with Eventbrite to organise refunding all tickets.

Today we have completed the process and the event has been officially cancelled via Eventbrite.

We're really sorry...

It's with deep regret that we have to now cancel the event.

Circumstances beyond our control have meant that we can not guarantee the security and safety of our headliners, guests, vendors, attractions, and especially everyone wanting to attend.

Understandably, moving the event at such short notice would not be possible and would be a strain on not only the organisers but on many of you who wanted to be there.

We will be refunding all tickets and vendor deposits.

The Geek Emporium has been notified and will be making their own statement addressing this unfortunate news.

We want to thank you for your support and encouragement with this event and will do everything we can to ensure that Andover does have a Comic Con as soon as possible because we know how important it is to us all.

Saturday is our most popular day so far and Sunday is starting to catch up...

Please be careful about where you have bought your tickets from as we have a few people try to buy from 3rd party sources and valid tickets will only be available directly from our links.

Let us know if you have been approached or had "people" try and sell their tickets to you.
We can check if they are legitimate, but it's safer for you to just buy them directly.

Only one month to go!

On Saturday 19th August at 10am we'll be opening the gates to Andover's 1st Comic Con!

As soon as your ticket is scanned, you'll get a security band to access the whole event, pass through our security checks, and then go explore.

Sign posts will let you know where everything is and stewards will be there to help too.

It is an enclosed event so only those with tickets* will be allowed in, there will be no public access.

We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy yourself.

Special Guest - Matthew Seabourne

Artist and inker for Image, Marvel, and some amazing independent titles will be joining us for both the Saturday and Sunday.

Most notably, working with Rob Liefeld, for Bridgade, Matthew is part of our "artists alley" segment and will be available for signing.

Special Guest - Senpaiguide

The hugely popular and talented cosplayer Senpaiguide will be with us for both Saturday and Sunday, and will be our main judge for both the under 16s and 16+ cosplay competitions.

Regularly featured at some of the biggest Comic Cons in the UK, we are very excited to have them at Andover's 1st!

It themed so good!

Saturday and Sunday have a two different themes over the Comic Con weekend.

On the Saturday 19th, there is a mix of Sci-Fi and Fantasy woven into the events and guests.

Sunday 20th will be Anime and Gaming, with a section dedicated to rpg, table top, and digital gaming.

The venue... we mean venues!

We may have teased a little about our venue being the Lights, but that's not all. We have two!

We have also got the sports hall in the Leisure Centre and the outside space between both venues.

The whole site will be surrounded with fencing, so it'll only be accessible to ticket holders.

With so much space, we'll have lots for everyone to see and do for the whole day.

There will be different things to do and people to see each day, too.

It's only two months away!

We're so excited for you to have a Comic Con right on your doorstep.

No expensive hotels, travel, or packages. Just one price for entry to the whole event and our headliners Q&A session ticket for attendees only.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be publicly announcing our line up and what we have planned.

Tickets are selling fast and they'll be going faster over the next few weeks.

Early Birds SOLD OUT!

Wow, that was amazing, and those who got in early are in for an extra treat too.

Congratulations to everyone who got one and we love your enthusiasm for Andover's 1st Comic Con!

Standard Tickets go on sale today at noon and now we can begin releasing more details about the event.

Only 1 day left for Early Bird tickets!

At 4pm tomorrow (Sunday) is the end of Early Bird sales but if you do miss out (or want to wait) Standard tickets will be available from Monday morning.

Only 3 days to go!

On Sunday 30th April at 4pm the Early Bird tickets will be gone, unless they sell out before of course, but full price tickets will be available from Monday.

We are amazed at the response from everyone and although a few details may have been rumored, we will start confirming what and who will be at the event next week!

With Early Bird tickets going quickly, we're getting ready to share more details about the event.

Most of you will have already seen that the location is set to The Lights, but that's not all...

A few of you have asked what the "themes" will be, well that depends on the day...

There's been a couple of inquiries for who our guests and headliners will be, but with 4 months to go, and with only one "extra" add-on ticket for the Q&A's with our headliners, we're sure having to only pay entry for access to the whole event, you won't mind those details being released a little closer to the dates...

We can only say for now that if you've been to Geek Fest, think much bigger!
