Tripti and Emmanuel’s multicultural wedding in Santa Barbara was one for the books. It was such a joy working with them to blend Indian and Nigerian customs which was reflected in their attire, the bright and colorful florals, fusion menu (samosas and jollof rice anyone?), mandap, music, and of course the money dancing!

Congratulations to this very special couple and all 300 of their wonderful family and friends who brought so much life, love, and energy to the party ❤️🧡

When Elise first reached out about being her wedding coordinator, I was ecstatic. I feel so connected to Elise not only because we attended the same international school, but because fate brought each of us from NYC to Los Angeles (where we both found the love of our lives!)

It was a joy to work with Elise and Jonathan from our very first meeting. They were intentional with their vision, wanting to celebrate their marriage intimately with 40 of their closest family and friends in an elopement-style dinner party that evoked classic elegance and airy California vibes. The Santa Monica Proper Hotel was the perfect setting!

It warmed my heart to see Elise and Jon’s families together, and a particularly special moment was when Jon addressed his parents directly in Spanish, their native language. It was such a beautiful reminder of how families blend and grow when two people get married.

Congratulations and felicidades to Elise & Jonathan! 💕

This is me surprising my husband with a special song on our wedding day! It took a lot of extra planning and coordination, but the result was exactly what I had hoped for.

How do you feel about wedding day surprises? I think a tasteful surprise planned with the right coordinator who can execute it properly can make for a very memorable moment!

One of my favorite ways to infuse culture in a wedding is through an outfit change! For this Moroccan Fusion styled shoot, the bride started off in an elegant, boho style dress by complete with free flowing arm veils, then changed into a traditional Moroccan takchita for the reception courtesy of .

To enhance the bride’s Moroccan ensemble, added a bolder accent lip color to elevate the entire look.

And of course we never neglect the groom! To complement the bride’s green reception dress, the groom switched out of his gold velvet ceremony outfit for an ivory paisley jacket by .

1. Bud vases are a great option for long tables, especially if you’re going for a delicate and romantic look. Bud vases showcase the beauty of each individual flower and allow guests to see and eat comfortably without bulky centerpieces getting in the way!2. Candles and greenery are less costly than flowers, but still provide a lush and cozy atmosphere. Another option is to mix up your table centerpieces: florals on half of the tables, greenery and candles on the other half!3. Baby’s Breath are a light and airy (and affordable!) floral alternative. You can accent table garlands with these, or go big with a full baby’s breath ceremony arch!4. Get more out of your ceremony flowers by moving them to the reception space. You can reuse aisle markers as table centerpieces or to decorate your sweetheart table, dessert table, or DJ area. The Zaffa is a traditional Arabic wedding procession that accompanies the couple’s grand entrance. Musicians play drums and bagpipes while chanting happy wishes to the newlyweds, as everyone else claps and cheers and dances along! If you listen carefully, you’ll also hear guests ululating in celebration.
