As Santa, Enoch Jimmy Freeman has been spreading Christmas cheer around Robeson County and the surrounding areas for 30+ years. Claus eight years ago. Together they have delighted both children and adults at various churches, business events, private holiday gatherings, schools, day care centers, charitable events, rest homes, and community events. As the festive lights twinkle and the world gets wrapped up in the glitz of the season, let's take a moment to remember what Christmas truly signifies. It's more than just the jingles, the tinsel, and the rush to find the perfect gift.

This Christmas, let's reflect on the profound words from Philippians 2:10-11: 'that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.' These words remind us of the deep reverence and awe that Christmas deserves.

In a world constantly chasing the next big sale or the latest holiday trend, let's pause and consider the humble beginnings of this holy day - a day that marks the birth of Jesus Christ, our Savior. It's a time for gratitude, for prayer, and for acknowledging the true King.

🎅🤶 CHRISTMAS PHOTOS WITH SANTA & MRS. CLAUS 🎅🤶

Zoey Lens Photography will be offering Santa & Mrs. Claus (aka Jimmy & Jean Freeman) mini sessions with a Country Christmas theme on Saturday, Nov. 11th, 9am until 5pm, in Lisbon, just off of Hwy. 87 outside Elizabethtown.

Details of the session:
•For this particular set, think “Classic Southern Christmas.”
Old weathered barn, old white church pew, Santa & Mrs. Claus, pencil Christmas trees, etc.
•There will also be a large mailbox for kids to mail their letters back to the North Pole for Santa. The goal is to mail letters back to them from Santa as well.
•Kids will get to spend 10-15 minutes talking and interacting with Santa and having their picture taken. There will be candid photos as well as posed. 3-6 pictures guaranteed with the possibility of additional.
•Kids will receive a goodie bag with homemade cookies, Christmas coloring sheet and candy cane.
•Think of this as a more personalized experience with Santa, not rushed or hurried for your kids versus your typical 2 minutes with Santa at the mall coming home with a low quality photo for a high price.

I guess with this cooler weather as inspiration, a few folks started thinking about Christmas early, and they have already called to book us for their Christmas events. Therefore, we have three bookings on the calendar before September has even started good! 😀 That being said, please be sure to call us EARLY to book Santa & Mrs. Claus so that we will have more dates available. We don't want anyone to miss out on having an extra-special Christmas event. 🎄 🎅 🎄 🤶 🎄 🎅 🎄

‼️DAD (MOM), IS SANTA REAL?‼️ This is the sweetest way for all parents to reveal to their children THE TRUTH ABOUT SANTA 🎅 Son: "Dad, I think I'm old enough to know now. Is there really a Santa Claus?" Dad: "Okay, I agree that you're old enough. But, before I tell you, I have a question for you. You see, the 'truth' is a dangerous gift. Once you know something, you can't unknow it. Once you know the truth about Santa Claus, you will never again understand and relate to him as you do now. So my question is: Are you sure you want to know?" Brief pause... Son: "Yes, I want to know." Dad: "Okay, I'll tell you: Yes there is a Santa Claus." Son: "Really?" Dad: "Yes, really, but he's not an old man with a beard in a red suit. That's just what we tell children. You see, children are too young to understand the true nature of Santa Claus, so we explain it to them in a way that they can understand. "The truth about Santa Claus is that he's not a person at all; he's an idea. "Think of all those presents Santa gave you over the years. I actually bought those myself. I watched you open them. And did it bother me that you didn't thank me? Of course not! In fact it gave me great pleasure. You see, Santa Claus is THE IDEA OF GIVING FOR THE SAKE OF GIVING, without thought of thanks or acknowledgement. "When I saw that woman collapse on the subway last week and called for help, I knew that she'd never know it was me that summoned the ambulance. I was being Santa Claus when I did that." Son: "Oh." Dad: "So, now that you know, you're part of it. You have to be Santa Claus too now. That means you can never tell a young child the secret, and you have to help us select Santa presents for them, and most importantly, you have to look for opportunities to help people. Got it?"
