Today is the absolute last day to enter. There is also a mandatory meeting/practice TODAY for contestants at 2:00 in Danville at the High School Auditorium. The entry form is online and is in the comments. You must be a resident of Yell County. This is for ages 14-23.

Junior and Miss Yell County Fair Queen Contestants...Deadline is approaching. You must have form completed and sent in by Sunday, August 20...

Mandatory Meeting/Rehearsal - Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 2:00 at the Danville High School Auditorium.

The modeling pattern will be a figure 8 for Junior and Miss Divisions. You will enter and exit at the back of the stage & stop at star entering and exiting. This pattern is NOT for the Princess Pageant 0-13 years old.

Are you a graduating high school senior, enrolled in post secondary education, or non-pursuant of education? We are looking for Fair Queen contestants! All contestants must be no more than 23 years of age on the day of the pageant, and meet resident requirements.

The 2023 Yell County Jr Fair Queen and Fair Queen Pageant will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Danville High School Auditorium. The pageant will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a private interview being held earlier that day.

Fair Queen contestants must be a graduating high school senior, enrolled in post secondary education, or non-pursuant of education, all contestants must be no more than 23 years of age on the day of the pageant, and meet resident requirements.

The Junior Fair Queen contestants must be at least 14 years of age and not more than 18 years of age on the day of the local pageant and meet resident requirements. (High School seniors must compete in Miss Division)

A contestant must have been born a female. She cannot be, become, or at any time have been married, engaged, had a marriage annulled, pregnant, or have had a child. Contestants must not have ever been convicted of any crime or have any criminal charges pending.

All contestants will compete in four areas of competition: Private Interview (pantsuit, casual dress, or jumpsuit), Evening Gown, Active Wear (black spandex shorts or spandex capris, a sports bra or a sports tank - No t-shirts) and on-stage commentary (what makes your school unique?).

The Yell County Fair Queen and Junior Yell County Fair Queen winners must compete at the Arkansas State Fair in October.
