The peace & quiet I get for 5 mins in the morning before the toddler gets up, the dog squeaky toy going off non stop, before toys are scattered everywhere, before all the chaos of the day. & I love every minute of it. Don't get me wrong I love the chaos too. 🤪

In all it's glory 😍 Had so much fun creating my version of the Nortorious Pastel gingerbread cookie castle. I definitely made it to my own, by adding some paper trees & Reindeer. And so much glitter. The technical side took a little longer, measuring, cutting, spackling of the foam base. Before I could even start gluing & painting. Tell me what you think?

Finishing up my wrapping tonight. With the tree & Pastel village in view! Also my DIY ornament pillow sitting pretty.
This is my favorite part. Mixing & matching paper with coordinating ribbons & bows. 😍😍 A lot of my wrapping paper I find over the years from Sugarpaper LA at Target, & homegoods. Plenty of pink paper to go around. But I also mix up a few other colors too! I may or may not have a huge bin where I hoard cute wrapping paper. 🙈 just dont tell my husband. 😁😁
This is the First year where I am finished before Christmas eve! Whoooo hooo. Now onto the fun stuff baking & binging Christmas movies all week!

A little late night crafting going on over here.
So I saw this super cute lighted ceramic gingerbread cookie cake online last year. & I fell in love. I mean SWIPE & check it out. 😍 so good right? & then I found out it's sold at tjmaxx & homegoods. So I searched high & low for them last year & also this year! And had nooo luck. & people are reselling these guys for $150+ online. It's crazy. They were on $29.99 to begin with. I couldn't fathom paying $150.
So here I am, now I am going to make my own version of it. For less than $15. Utilizing items I already had!
Ekkkk. So excited!!!! This is gonna be so good!

My favorite area in our house? The dining nook.
It is so Kitschy, and full of memories of Christmas past.
Filled the frames with some of my favorite Christmas photos, & wrapping paper. Seriously easiest Christmas hack. Some of the cutest pillows. Patterns on patterns.
& I know it doesn't match our pink Christmas decor in our living room. But hey That's fine. I love it & so does our little family. And that's all that matters. & I really didn't want to go out and spend a small fortune on new pink decorations on the whole house. So I used what I had and utilized it in areas that fit!

I was going to post a cute photo of just our front door, but then this cutie wanted to take a photo. So you get 2 for the price of one. Win win I say.
The rest of our home is decorated in a classic Christmas color palette & love it! Also these snowmen were a passed down to us from our great grandma Gerrie, & Natalia wanted them here, front and center🤣

Another Small DIY project I did, repainted this small Christmas picture. Painted it pink & glittered it. Now it fits in perfectly with my decor. Before and after and a video of the glitter in the comment's.

I finally found some time & finished our pastel Christmas Village. & it's so dreamy, I need to add in some more fairy lights, but working on my personal collection was so fun. Natalia got it on the action too! There was glitter flakes everywhere. 😳
I added the 4 villages that I was selling in my Shop too. They fit in so perfectly 😍 I'll post a video in a bit of the village in my stories.

Ekkk. I love how my shelf turned out. & i think my most favorite antique shop find this year was that santa head. From afar I thought it was a cookie jar & got excited. & I picked it up to realize it was a vintage blow mold for $20. I don't know if of that was a good price or not. But I brought it home. & painted him pink, he's originally red. Buttt if for any reason I change my mind I can easily wipe down the paint. I used a water base paint for this purpose.
I just love him & he makes me smile everytime I see him. # #

I know y'all have probably seen this advent calendar at & I loved it. But had to change it up a bit to work for me. Doors & chimneys used to be red 😜
Now it's perfect I've always wanted one & finally bit the bullet early last month maybe even late October because I knew it would sell out.
So now my question, what do you guys put in your calender? Candy?
I did a mixture of Candy, Snap clips from , some other tiny craft activities. & love that not everyday is candy 🤣

I think my favorite part of the holidays is the crafting! So much fun especially if you can have your littles do it with you.
Later this week I will have a blog post with Our D.I.Y. Christmas forest that is 100% toddler friendly. It was a fun project & I can't wait to share it with you later this week!

We will be home celebrating small. Definitely will be missing all of the family this year during the holidays. Which we always look forward too.
But because it will look different in some sorts, I will still be making a dinner and keep our traditions alive. It's one of the ways to looking to the future & better days to come.

I wanted to hop on here and say thank you to every single one of you who messaged me, shared my post, with excitement right along with me yesterday. It means the world to me and my small business. & yes this year has been nothing but normal and trying to find my place in a world where your work is scarce, has been hard. Coming back at it with a new train of thought & pathway but always the same hustle. I'm going to be honest, it's scary to share something you've been working so hard on. Not knowing how its going to be perceived. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤

Happy Monday! I've been keeping a little secret the last month, and I am so excited to finally share with you all. I created a Holiday line of decor that will go live in my shop soon. Designed for the pastel lovers out there.
I spent hours handrcrafting every single piece. Hand painting, hand sewing, hand tying, hand dyeing, you name it These two hands have been busy.
My Christmas collection launches on Saturday November 21st!

We hope your Halloween is still magical this year, we will be celebrating at home With a movie night & lots of treats & goodies to go along with it. This little Jedi will not even know the difference.
Remember don't be so hard on yourself moms because it's a bit different this year. , kids will remember the time spent together!

Next on my Halloween DIY makeover list was turning this Princess Castle into a spooky castle along with some furniture makeover too (which was originally pink blue & white)
The total cost of this project was $9. I don't remember how many hours were put into it, because I worked on it a little every night.. But all pieces were bought second hand at in Arizona. Loved how it all turned out. Now it sits on the counter next to all my teas & Keurig.

This is what was next me while I was filling out my Ballot. Sipping on a rootbeer from Miguels, crayons, dolls because mom life.
Natalia asking me what I was doing. And me letting her know I was voting, & how important it is to vote & make sure our voice is heard. Because not too long ago we (latina & women) were not allowed to vote. So it is definitely something I don't take lightly. & She automatically grabbed her crayons and a piece of paper & said she was voting too. Then said Ana & Elsa were voting with her.
She might not know whats going on in this world right now & understand voting. But you know for damn sure I'm teaching her how to stand up for her self & to be a powerful fu**in women in a world where men are trying to dictate our bodies

I'm definitely been contemplating Christmas decorations already this year. (Not decorating yet, just thinking) I know I am NOT doing pink like last year all over the house. Probably more tradtional colors this year. Not 100% sure. But I love options, so I always plan early. But I will get my pink fix in Natalias room for sure! So Pink ain't going no where. I honestly love pink Chrismtas more than anything though!😭 what to do, what to do.

Porch Makeover - Halloween Edition.
I used 90% of what I had for this makeover.
I bought this black & white checkered tablecloth this year and used it to cover up the sofa out here, cut out some pieces of it to reupholster these chairs too. (They were really sad before)
Loved how it turned out.

Oh Holidays, how I love you. Decorating for any holiday is my favorite. Especially when I can make it my own. I've literally wanted to create a halloween village for years but never had the time because of busy Holiday work schedule every year. If this year has taught us anything it has definitely been valuing my time & remembering to do things I love, like crafting. I have so many fun surprises coming next month that I can not wait to share with you all!
Also my potion collection is one of my favorites as well. I collected pieces over the years & even made a few with old green wine bottles. It's been so fun!

I had so much fun bringing these thriftstore finds to the afterlife. It took me 4 days and countless hours to paint & makeover. But totally worth it. Now I have these pretties for years to come.
Project total cost $55 purchased all the pieces from while I was in Arizona.
Used paint I had on hand.
And I absolutely love my Halloween village.

Mental health is something I've struggled with since I was in my teens. Then I didn't have the support like I do now to understand the why's & how. More importantly within the last few years I've taken the steps I need to heal and get better. It hasn't been easy, and the road to healing is ever changing. But just know you should never feel ashamed to seek help when you know your struggling. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. If you ever need a shoulder to lean on or ear to listen. I'm here! If we could learn one thing from this horrible year is to "be kind" to one another.

A few weeks ago Natalia and I were in Arizona & we were Antique & thift store shopping with our grandma. I found the perfect christmas houses/village to create my spooky halloween village. Well during that trip on Arizona I also lost my phone in a huge furniture store. (A long story for another time). Called our insurance to get a new phone which was on a Saturday. (It was going to take 4 days for the replacment to get here (I was able to secure & lock my old phone before it died) & went without a cell phone or access to all of my social media feeds, emails, apps. I have my 2 step verification turned on for literally everything. & those codes get sent to "go figure" my phone 🙈😑😱 so it was super overwhelming. And when I was able to regain access, social media was overwhelming with political messages everywhere, so I took some time to process alot.
During that week that I didn't have a phone I painted & created my Spooky Halloween Village. Which I will share Once I get them all set up today. & was such a great thing to get my mind off of things.
