Valentine's is less than 10 days away! Y'all better get it together honey. A couple of weeks ago I advertised my Valentine's special and my client wanted to surprise her husband for his Birthday. So while it wasn't a Valentine's event, it was a romantic dinner. The theme was Dinner in Bed. They loved it and he was so surprised.

In 2020, when Covid hit, Keesha had to do what so many of us had to do, pivot. Many of her offered services were placed on hold. She had to think of new ways to connect, she decided to combine both education and entertainment around food. Long post alert...

So, last week I drove an hour to go and print a document. (I didn't want to use my printer) I purchased glossy paper from Office Depot/Max (by the way $23, is just too much money to spend on glossy paper). I printed my document, it looked great. I felt successful in my endeavor. It wasn't until I looked at my prints in daylight (days later) that I realized I printed the proof and not the final document. In the background, I could read the word PROOF. LOL All I could do was laugh…so I decided to do which is what I should have done at the start – ordered prints at Office Depot/Max and scheduled a pickup time.  It took me the same time order my prints online, wait for the Come Pick Up Your Order email, drive to the store, pick up my items AND drive home as it did to drive ONE WAY last week. So yeah, I say all of that to say…these past 18 months have been a whirlwind. I have learned so much from my failures. Every day is not a success, in fact, I fail EVERY DAY, but I make sure to learn from my failures. I saw a quote the other day by Samuel Beckett and these two words resonated with me, Fail Better! As Oprah once said, "Failure is a stepping to stone to greatness". So go ahead Be great and Fail Better!
