Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone that came down to last weekend, it was lush to see the place busy on a winters night. The vibes were on point and did a wonderful job providing the musical goods 🙏

With open arms we welcome a new resident to the SSC fam…

has always been present in our minds due to his talent for producing some amazingly uplifting disco house tunes, but he goes a step further by being an awesome guy with an impeccable taste in memes 😅

This alone makes him a perfect fit for SSC and it’s exciting having him on board to play at our events.

Mark and I have grown up surfing right in front of the , so not only is it super fitting to play here, but it’s also an absolute honour to showcase ‘s new music project , where he’ll be joined by , who is incredibly talented and a true gent 🫶🎶

With Mark starting his own new thing and SSC becoming a growing family of artists, I can’t help but feel this is the perfect time of year to radiate the creative and positive vibes with our friends and guests alike as we come together for the festive season.

Well, that’s NYE sorted, let us tell you about it…

It’s a pleasure to be working with the team again this year, and if their previous New Years events in Bristol are anything to go by, then we are in for a treat.

It’s exciting to see such a spectacular and well put together event come to our home town, so it’s only fitting that SSC will be headlining the VIP room.

Here’s a quick BTS from last weekends gig…

When Aaron asked us if there were any DJ’s that we’d like to see him book Captain instantly replied with “Kirollus”… just so turned out that he’d already booked him and Captain lost his mind 😂

It was a pleasure to watch Captain play a full disco and disco house set, even though he had first slot which is always a tough one when everyone hasn’t arrived yet, but he stayed true to his soul and kept the vibe on a cruisey level ready for Gourmet Sound Kitchen to perfectly elevate the energy up, all set for the main man himself.

Watching Kirollus behind the decks is truly inspiring, a real professional from start to finish. Thanks for being a legend off the decks too, we can’t wait to hopefully get you back down to the Southwest very soon… the wheels are in motion.

Big thank you again to the guys at Hold It Down for getting us in 🙏 we received some amazing news from them this week that we’ll share with you all next week.

LF System need no introduction, as their track ‘Afraid to Feel’ was the anthem of summer ‘22 - you danced to it, we danced to it, everyone danced to it. The roof of Move is guaranteed to be blown clean off.
