Here’s a little secret from your favorite wedding planner. 😉
If you are having a wedding during the months when it’s hot outside, please please please make sure your wedding venue has excellent air conditioning. You don’t want to spend all this money on hair, make up, dress etc. and then feel like you’re melting on your wedding day. Believe me, all your vendors will thank you for the excellent air conditioning as well. 💯💯🙌🏻🙌🏻 When you’re choosing your venue, make sure to ask about the air conditioning situation. It will be worth it’s weight in gold on your wedding day 😀.
Can I get an amen from all the hard working wedding vendors out there?!?!

Fun fact: the wedding ring is traditionally worn on the 4th finger on the left hand. This is because the vein on this finger was believed to lead straight to the heart. How cool is that!? ❤️❤️❤️

Want to feel more confident on your wedding day? Hiring a wedding planner or day-of coordinator is worth it’s weight in gold. That’s one of the best pieces of advice I give to any bride. If you hire the right person, you will know everything is taken care of and you can have confidence that you will have exactly the day you envisioned you’d have. 💯💯

I have married thousands and thousands of couples - I still can’t believe it!
The first wedding I ever performed was my dad‘s wedding to his second wife. It took me a full year to garner the courage to perform a wedding after I was appointed. Now, I preform every ceremony with ease. I love being part of such a pivotal moment on a wedding day 😍😍☺️

Did you know I put myself through college working weddings at two different country clubs in Maryland?
Back then, I never thought it would lead me to where I am today. 🤣
But it certainly did give me the initial experience I needed to take the plunge and start my own business being a wedding planner and day-of coordinator.

One of my absolute favorite wedding venues of all time is 😍😍
I know that place like the back of my hand and have done SO many weddings there. You certainly can’t beat the view, and it has everything you could ever want in a wedding venue. Love that place! I highly recommend it!

I ❤️ the 🥰. I have been doing weddings at the Birkby House since 2006, I can’t believe it’s been so long!😍😍
Here’s what I love about them:
I love that the venue is in the heart of downtown Leesburg, can’t get more historic than that! The venue has everything you need including a gazebo, tent, beautiful grounds, and plenty of space to get ready. I also love that when you’re there, you feel like family.
A big shout out to one of the best wedding venues in all of Northern Virginia 🙌🏻🙌🏻

If it rains on your wedding day, embrace it!
Umbrellas are terrific props for photos. They really provide something very unique… Not everybody has an umbrella in their wedding photos.
And thankfully, they sell really cute ones now 😉
