After many months of silence, Limassol-based Avant - Garde Black Metallers, .winds , return to the stage this summer, on Friday, the 9th of August for a headlining show at Downtown Live in Nicosia. Joining the gathering, in an unconventional yet fiery night of musical occultism and skull-crushing Metal, as Frozen Winds share the stage with from Nicosia, with their unorthodox fusion of Thall/Deathcore Metal and Post-Doom Metal newcomers .band , based in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Being of Entropy is a 4-piece band formed in 2018, bringing a blend of Thall, Deathcore and Modern metal, accompanied by some Black influences, translated into a wave of crushing and unrelenting sound. Playing in extremely low tunings in unison with massive and precise drums, alongside the use of extreme vocals, aethereal cleans and choirs that complement the overall musicality. Combined with a very passionate and energetic stage presence commands everyone in the audience to headbang alongside the band.
Pandaemon is a two-piece Metal band hailing from Limassol, based in the Netherlands. Their music draws inspiration from the genres of Doom metal, Black metal and Post, as well as from the traditional music of the Eastern Mediterranean. The two musicians combine their influences in order to create a wall of sound, ranging from massive distorted riffs, to ambient melodic passages. Their lyrics tackle multiple issues that plague their native island of Cyprus, including political corruption, ethnic conflict and deforestation
