So if you've seen our post requesting donations to make bunting, this post won't be a surprise!

We need the people of Hawkinge to make bunting for us! It's nice and simple so everyone can get involved.

We need all the bunting to be the same size so we have created a template to follow which you can download or collect a printed version.

If you have your own material you can use, please go ahead, alternatively you can choose from the donations we've (hopefully) be given!

For Hawkinge Summer Fest, we want to decorate the green with bunting made by the community. First of all we need donations of any clean material, clothes, bedding etc. that could be made into bunting.

If you have anything you think could be used, Ewe Move in Defiant Close have kindly offered to collect all donations for us if you can drop into them.

With everyone's support we can make the green look fantastic!

We ran a competition with The Churchill School to ask them to suggest the name for the new Hawkinge summer event. There were some amazing entries and we're really excited to annouce that the winning name as suggested by one of the boys in Year 4 is:

We're running a competition with Hawkinge Primary and Selsted schools to create the posters for the event so keep your eyes peeled 👀
