Hey everyone! I just got back from SN-RG, and I have all sorts of awesome ideas to do some really cool s**t!! I wanted to brainstorm with yall too!

So, I've been talking with several people about wanting to do an old-school warehouse rave! It's already cold as hell to rave this time of year, but I want to keep the parties going. Renting a space is obviously the best answer! But, I do not like selling tickets. Selling tickets to my events kinda feels, wrong. It gives me the wrong vibe.

I want to include all the people who can't afford to go to these big festivals! Times are fu***ng tough... I'm not the only one struggling right now. But, people who are struggling need this escape, love, family, and support the most! They NEED to experience this community! The power of our love and joy is life changing!!

So... How do we raise money? We can do free events at the dry lake-bed, but it's getting cold already... And I won't be able to do anything until November, after moving and all that fun stuff. My best answer is... Doing a rave during the daytime!

The sun in the desert is an issue, but I had thought of a solution for that too! I was chatting with Danny about shade and wanting to do something with an art grant to make a giant shade structure. I was thinking... Every camp has at LEAST one 10x10 pop-up tent, with the correct mounting equipment to protect against the wind. What if... We all brought out our own pop-ups, mounted them, and tied them all together?! With a few people, it takes practically no time to set up a tent. You could keep on adding as we go. If we could find like, 18 of them, we would have a 60'x30' shaded area. Everyone bring your own blankets and pillows and whatever for seating. Bring trippy things for hanging on the outside, both for extra shade and to add more fun!

The difficulty is making sure people don't potentially leave intoxicated after a party in the desert. The LAST thing I want is to endanger anybody! This is all about having fun and building loving community. That means, we need to take care of each-other as best as we can... My thought is to encourage a "Last Call for alcohol" like, an hour before we go home. Encourage cleanup as a group at the end to pack up the tents and get everyone sober enough to drive. Maybe switch to a bonfire or something at dark for those who want to stay and camp in the cold.

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Let me know what you think!!

I got to thinking about how to best promote a rave with someone else throwing the event. Well... If I'm bringing my equipment and I want to advertise, I need to have SOMETHING attached to it! Why not... My DJ gear and the desert? OMFG... My DJ gear in the desert is enough to be my home, my business, my life... ALL of it!! Eventually, I could potentially get big enough to travel, all on my own or with a crew of people to help me, and throw free events all around the desert! There is a LOT of area to cover!!

So... Why not make it official? I'll give my mobile rave in the desert it's own place in social media, and let THAT build, on top of my other two socials. OMFG... There is no limit to what we could do with this!!

Now hiring!! It doesn't pay much (I don't make anything right now), but your support will help build this thing! Lets see how big we can grow!!
