When dress shopping, remember to do your hair and makeup in a similar style to how you plan to on your wedding day so you get an idea of how you'll look walking down the aisle! You can also bring a pair of shoes that are a similar height to what you want to wear - your posture will be different in flats than it will in heels, and that can change the way your dress looks on you!
