Ok, here we go! Wildflowers are knee high and we have our first blooms! I am tentatively planning to open photography days in late July, barring any natural disasters, when this field will be tall and blooming; we should have blooms into September/October. I hand-weeded all the prickles out of this for several hours today in Satan's Sauna because I love you!

Late, multi stem, fluffy white daffodils are rounding out my daffodil season with the most delicious scent! I enjoy all the varieties of daffodils I have on the farm, but the unique and heady scent of these late bloomers is always a treat right at the end.

I found a peony in the woods! Logan said he did not discard any root fragments when planting so I suspect a woodland friend dug one up and replanted it for us. 🐿️ It lives here now, but I'm excited to watch it bloom this year and see which variety it is!
