Thank you to and my tree guy B for helping me get six new trees for the farm today! We've added new weeping willows and amur maples; the willows have been added in a low spot that gathers and hold standing water and along the creek bank, with the maples, to help stabilize the bank. These maples are going to be phenomenal in the fall- bright oranges, red, and yellows and only about 20 feet tall- perfect for fall photos!

Ok, people, this is it! PEAK LEAVES! Photos were taken all around the farm this morning, October 22, at 10:45 am, with an iPhone.

If you have not yet had a chance to shoot in the Oak Clearing, this week is her glory! The light here is diffuse and golden most of the day so mornings and early afternoons are great and we have plenty open (weekend later afternoons are mostly booked, but double check if you'd like to book a time!) This is my personal very favorite spot on the whole farm; it is like walking into a fairy tale, stepping away from time. It is glowy, meditative, joyful and apart from worry. I can't wait to see what gets created here!

Birthday flowers for my own Mama! I wholesale my flowers because I'm not a very good florist (play to your strengths 😂), but dahlia and sunflowers are so bright and happy they don't need much from me, which is right up my alley!
