After witnessing the death of a close friend at a very young age, experiencing the trauma of her parents divorce and her father moving out of state, Tammy was then forced to attend several different schools where she was bullied on a regular basis. That is, until one teacher took it upon herself to teach Tammy how to read every day after school. The following year Tammy was on the Honor Roll. This
one act of kindness made all the difference! Having discovered a love of reading, Tammy was inspired to write poems to family members in an effort to scatter seeds of kindness. She has written several stories throughout her life and has had her first book published entitled, The Kinder Garden which will soon be out in animation as well. She has recently completed another book entitled Teach Us How To Pray and Abigails Not So Crazy Dreams . Tammy has two grown children who serve in the US Military and a Shih Poo.
“After many trials and traumatic events in my past I have decided to turn my life over to Christ. This is the best decision I have ever made! Through Him I have found the peace and comfort I had been desperately seeking.” Recognizing children who have been bullied and abused will find this same comfort and peace through Christ , I have dedicated my life to helping these children.”
“My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.” Psalm 62:
I create and instruct children in making gifts for the family that celebrate the beauty of God’s creation. After losing my father to cancer I inherited a huge jar of sea glass collected while my father served in the Navy and traveled the world. Not knowing what to do with this over abundance of sea glass, I felt inspired to use it to create sea glass art. Soon my love of this art incorporated with pebbles and unique rocks I had collected over the years blossomed and I began to get requests for custom art pieces for weddings, cabins, cottages, golfers, graduations etc. Recognizing many of the traumas I experienced as a child and facing them through my faith in God, I wanted to give back to children who had been going through similar circumstances but lacked resources to explore their God given talents. In doing so I began to create fun events where children can explore the arts through biblical principles. I work with several non profit organizations, schools and ministries in local communities across the country and have been honored to receive awards such as The Award of Gratitude for my services. I am available for your event or fundraiser. Credentials including: Federal Background Check, Letters of Recommendation, Biblical Study Completion Certificates and Child Protection Module Certificate are all available upon request.
