Over a weekend of camping, hiking, adventure, cook outs and a few short educational bits sprinkled throughout, we are proud to present the 2019 Junior Rangers... Known only by their trail names they are... Kid Awesome , Nate the Great, The Boss, and Nature Scout!
Their adventure began when arriving at the (Gravenhurst, On) on Friday and went fishing and were introduced to archery before calling it a day and Supporting the Raptors by watching game 5!
They woke early on Saturday and traveled to Muskoka Lakes to visit and completed a loop by mid day!

Hike lead also showed them how to spot fat wood, Id tree and plant species, gather pine sap and where to find tinder in an emergency or wet environment.
Our final location for the weekend and our next overnight destination was the in Washego, Ontario for a proper and an amazing night of fishing,camping, celebrating new adventures and telling their favorite parts of this epic weekend!

Today we were offered to join an old friend in redlining a spot we first visited together a few years back.

As always, we chose the hard road all day long and knocked out an amazing 14km section over a few hours and many laughs! Thanks for the good times Mate!

Canoe graveyard is located on the in Toronto.

For those who can't sneak out of the city and need some time in nature , we suggest you check out this trail with some friends.

Travel from Ellesmere Rd to the waterfront and catch a glimpse of a section of the city that remains a hidden gem for most.

Along this route you can find the Royal Botanical Gardens, public parks, bbq's for public use, numerous sports fields and side trails to explore.

See this guy... well this pic was from 2016 when and tackled 100 km of the Mighty in 3 days from basically Darryns front door.
This pic was taken at our and shortly after crossing a rather interesting section of the trail where you actually cross a live golf course. No kidding.

We eat lunch at this spot afterwards and laughed over a small fear we had of hearing then one of us dropping dead and the other with laughter.

Creeks, stream's and river's are flowing, soon trees will be budding and flowers will be popping up everywhere on the trail and at that point the layers start to come off! It seems like it's taking forever this year to warm up but, then again, it's not even April yet! Hope you all are getting outside and enjoying this time of the year!

Winter's grip is still got a hold on the creeks and streams on the Seaton trail! Today we saw Man's encroachment on this beautiful trails system with the ever expanding subdivision being built! If you get chance in the near future, try to get out and enjoy this area before it's gone.
