Time to say goodbye to this magical country-Peru!
What I learned:
1) Very safe- they have double downed on COVID
2) The people are wonderful.
3) The colors are uplifting
4) The history is mystical and 5) I didn’t go hungry 😋
I have to thank for putting together an epic trip. Thank you all who shared in this journey with me.

Uros indigenous culture- is a community who lives on floating islands made with layer of reeds. It’s a 20 min boat ride on Lake Titicaca from Puno. We learned how they make their islands, cook, and practice their cultural heritage. Population- 2000 on 90 islands. .

We made it! It did not disappoint. Still digesting all we took in.

We hung out with this Indigenous Family up at 12,000 feet near Sacred Valley. This was no tourist spot. This was the real deal and how they really live. Our guide was Quechua and had a connection at this village. We danced, ate and learned about their culture.

Part 1: we started off seeing some beautiful historical stuff.
Part 2: Of coarse I found a wedding.
Part 3: Then we got hungry.
Part 4: Had lunch at the artistic Central’s.
Part 5: Got lost…but found a Flores Market- Heaven!

Where to begin in a very sophisticated gastronomic city- 😋 started with Coffee and pastries, then the best ceviche, to sweet potato donuts in fig honey syrup, to corn and camas camu juice, to a Pisco sour ( very similar to a margarita)- ended with a much need bike ride on the Malecon - We ll get serious about historical stuff tomorrow 😉😎
