Also, for a bit of an explanation to my current situation, I have been through a LOT this year, with many changes and moving equations as I navigate life without a steady full time job, but Don't Get It Twisted with my recent absence from the shop and other endeavors as I try to find my footing somehow to continue my quest to make Music a Career..... It was an amazing privilege to man the deck at Jiggy as Geoff's #1 and I already miss running the shop and the interactions with customers... unfortunately that was a move I Had to make due to logistics living an hour away from Madison. It boils down to being too much wear on me and my car driving out there constantly (which my car is now in disrepair which was my biggest concern).

JIGGYJAMZ is FOUNDATIONAL to the Wisconsin Scene and has been for well over a DECADE! II will ALWAYS do Everything in my power to see it Thrive. I equally ask all of YOU to PLEASE get out there (or Online) and SUPPORT Geoff and his efforts!!! Maintaining a Record Store isn't easy these dayz. Those that exist, in whichever region or state you live in, NEED YOUR LOVE and SUPPORT and are the Lifeblood of what we do..... from event promotion, networking, etc. They are INVALUABLE to Our Culture and way of life.......

I KNOW it is a bit of a drive for many of YOU, but I am IMPLORING You! to come out to Ruben's in Oconomowoc in Your FINEST COSTUMES for a Very Special experience...... I have a Ton of Amazing FRIENDS within an hours drive of my hometown. Help FILL This Space with Old and New FRIENDS and it will be MAJIKAL!!!

I will be scouring thousands of pieces of muzik and soundscapes to curate an Unforgettable night of music..... You People KNOW I Dig DEEP in All forms of bliss. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! !!! !

As I alluded to previously...
I have BIG NEWS on the No Coast Muzik front!
After a couple of crazy weeks I am finally prepared to announce such!

The last 9+ months since I took a Major Leap in my work and personal life and took a chance to bet on myself and formed No Coast Muzik LLC has been rewarding in a million ways. Been a tough year in some regards, especially financially, but I couldn't be happier with the decision I made at the beginning of the year..... Eternally grateful to Jessi for her unwavering Love and Support through all of this. Not an easy discussion as we approach Marriage to tell someone you are quitting your Salaried + Commission job of 17 years to pursue your Musical dreams!

I had set benchmarks for myself to reach in this first year and while some things have been slower going than I had hoped (label releases and progress for one), i'm happy with the results so far. There are several new albums to be released shortly and I am very excited about where this project will be headed going forward!

The "NEWS" I have now is I will be achieving a Live Long DREAM and the No Coast Muzik RECORD STORE will very soooon be a thing (by the end of October)!!! I have been actively buying and selling records for 25 years and it is (along with the craft of Dj'ing) my Absolute Love and Passion!! I tried to make this life move 18 years ago and Failed Immediately...... NOW, it is Reality!

I have found an awesome space in Pewaukee, right off Capital Dr near hwy 16 that will help cater to the Milwaukee Dj Community and hopefully help bridge the gap for those who can't easily make it to Madison or Chicago often.

So this is clear, It WON'T be a typical "storefront".....
I have so many other projects going on that I Can't be tied down to running a physical store..... Running the Record Label, Dj'ing, and doing the Qdoba Catering gig will still be absolute Priorities....
I envision being in this shop primarily in afternoon / evening hours as my schedule allows.

It WILL be a "By Appointment" opportunity for heads to schedule a day and time with me to come visit and dig through what initially will amount to an unparalleled selection of several thousand Used and Amazing House, Techno, Dnb, Jungle, and Downtempo offerings!!! I will be working on listing them on the website and probably Discogs as well, but am hoping the local community will take the opportunity to come out in afternoons, nights, or weekends to Dig for Gold and help grow this thing! It will be an awesome little space with ALL KILLERS in the bins and ZERO "Filler"!

For those who may feel like this is "competition" to my primary Vinyl Brother in arms Geoff and my FAVORITE Record Store on the Planet, JiggyJamz Vinyl & CDs...... NO! I WILL continue to Man The Ship at one of the Midwest's FINEST record stores from time to time as well when my dj schedule takes me to Madison. We will essentially be Sister Stores and if "I" can't help a customer in Milwaukee with what they are looking for, i'll be sending them to the Mecca. I will NOT be purchasing NEW releases, nor offering all of the fine services his shop does.

There is No Substitute for what an amazing space Geoff has built for OUR Scene and I will Continue to BANG THE DRUM for JiggyJamz until I leave this planet for good.

What I have found over the last 9 months however is many of You in Milwaukee simply cannot make the Drive often for a day of digging. I hope No Coast Muzik will become an opportunity to discover some incredible albums and boost the crates of the many talented dj's in the city and beyond =]

There are so many amazing things going on in my life that i'm excited to share sooooon.....

Including:

Not one, but TWO forthcoming full length Deep House albums on the No Coast Muzik label alongside an Acid Sampler to drop shortly as well! Several other Acid and Techno Slammers in the pipeline too!

The new Home for HOUSEKEEPING at Ruben's continues to grow and should be the Go To spot for a quality night of dancing and drinks for people living in Lake Country. You can also count on catching me on the First Thursdays of EVERY Month at Gib's and working on getting back behind the decks at Lola's Madison

Aaaaaaaand..... some rather Major News to announce in the next few weeks that may directly affect the Milwaukee Muzik Scene and the Dance Muzik Crate Diggers therein!
