What a magical evening Saturday night was. We at The Not Just Jazz and Cabaret Club had the extreme privilege of presenting together, for the second time in 4 years, Wade Preston and David Crohan. Wade made his musical bones as a 3 year veteran, playing the lead in Movin’ Out on Broadway. David his through almost 60 years of playing on his own and with Orchestras from MA to FL.
Their collaboration was a thing of pure beauty. Their music lifted the spirits of each and every one of us in the audience. Your response both at the concert and subsequently to this very special and emotionally moving concert, has been so gratifying for us. It is the reason our club produces the events here for all of you. We believe, that what Wade and David collaborated in creating on Saturday Sept 26th 2015, will be something that many of us will still be talking about for as long as we live here at Valencia Shores.
Today we wish to share with all of you who came and those who couldn’t be there, part of this exciting and uplifting musical experience. Wade and David took Billy Joel's Piano Man and through their world class musical talent, and with amazing personal chemistry, created what we view as a concerto. The resulting composition truly was an example of the whole being greater than the sum of it's parts. Between the comments on Facebook, and your expressions of amazement and awe since then, we have heard from over 100 people so far. Many of you asked us how you can see them together again. How can you help get a New Yorker and a Floridian together to continue to make magical music? Well you can help!
Let’s brag a bit about what we have here at Valencia Shores and make their performance go viral. Please take the link we are giving you for this clip of "Piano Man" on You Tube and pass it on to as many people as you know who love great music. If Wade and David get enough hits they likely will get more bookings together and have the opportunity to do what they do best, make people
