The thought of portraits can be daunting for most couples. ‘Where should we take them? Isn’t that too much / enough time? I’m not photogenic.’ Totally get it, but here’s the thing - if you trust your photographer (you should, you hired them) let them take the wheel! You don’t need to travel all over the city to iconic locations for cool photos, a good photographer can make you look amazing anywhere! Your venue likely has plenty of beautiful photo spots in/or around that will give you a variety of backdrops without a ton of extra stress (like these, HELLO 😍). Talk to your photographer, get their input/suggestions, and prioritize your peace on your wedding day. And if everything goes completely bonkers - the park is closed, there’s a protest blocking the road, it’s raining and there’s traffics so you won’t make it to your backup in time, it’ll still be gorgeous. A great photographer can work their magic anywhere! (If these don’t convince you there’s actually an epic photo from under an overpass, in the rain, that took 6-7 years ago that I always show extra stressed couples to calm their nerves… works every time.)
