What a fabulous weekend 👏🏻👏🏻 such talent on display across all ages ….

Thankyou so much to everyone who attended - it’s so very lovely to speak to all teachers, principals, students and parents

A full list of all trophy winners will be posted this Shana Heneaghan KeelerThankDaniel Coxna Heneaghan Keeler and Daniel Cox for a weekend of great, positive feedback, constructive comments, patience, understanding and encouragement- meaning students walked away with their head held high no matter what the result. This is something so important to us at MKDC 💙

What a fab day with some wonderful talent …

Thankyou to everyone who attended today.

Please can we just ask that respect is shown to the school and changing areas. I know it was busy today but it’s taken the team a long time to clean up the changing areas and other areas with rubbish.There are so many bins in the school so if we can please leave everything as we find it so then we will be welcome to use the school again for future events.

Can we also ask that etiquette is shown when students are dancing - that the audience is quiet throughout and when the adjudicator is giving feedback as lots of people are keen to hear the advice. practise should not be done at the back of any hall as the noise carries throughout. We appreciate how much work goes into the dances from teachers and students so it’s only fair everyone has their fair chance to dance.
Please also do not enter / exit whilst students are dancing.

Help on these matters would be really appreciated if everyone can pass it on to all members of your studio.

It’s nearly time !!!

Who will be winning one of our trophies 🏆

We don’t just have trophies for highest marks - we believe a dancer can be so much more than winning 1st place and scoring the highest mark of the day …
Sometimes it’s the things that you think won’t make you stand out - that actually do!!

Can you catch the eye of the adjudicator? Self belief, self confidence and absolutely living your best life on stage can go such a long way!

MKDC is a relaxed, fun, friendly competition where dance is for EVERYONE 💙

The cafe will be selling hot and cold refreshments all weekend 😋

Hot bagels with cream cheese have been added to the menu aswell as ham and cheese toasties (or any combination)

Nice sweet treats for an afternoon pick me up aswell ….

The final timetable, QR code and information has all been sent to the email addresses we have on our entry forms. Please let us know if you think you should have this and haven’t received it? Teachers will pass on to all school entries…

Thankyou for the amendments - they have all now been done.

I will start the printing of reports and running orders today

No more changes will be able to be made and a final copy will be with teachers with all information in the next couple of days.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on programmes?

Do we like them? Do we need them? Or would we be happy with electronic copies and copies posted up - we did a QR code last time and actually running orders next to all doors ?

Curious to know what everyone thinks before I set about printing 100s copies 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Thankyou so much to everyone for such a wonderful day!

It was calm, friendly and so supportive all day. We have had some fab conversations with parents and teachers and it was so lovely to see so many schools mixing.

A huge Thankyou to Katie Glover for being a fantastic adjudicator once again
