Wrapping up our wedding season edits with these two has been the easiest kind of joy. Their day was one of those rare fall afternoons where everything lined up. Day 2 of mega proposal weekend and we’re rolling right into more sweetness because Erica and Johnny are just stinking cute in every frame. The way they look at each other makes our job way too easy. Zero effort. Zero posing stress. Just two people who genuinely enjoy being together and it shows in every shot. Plus occasionally we just drift off topic onto hamburgers, good classic rock to dance to on your wedding day or how to lift your fiance next to a fountain and not get her dress wet.

Jacob and Glori picked Minnehaha Falls for their engagement session and honestly it couldn’t have fit them better. Easy, down to earth, wrapped up in each other and smiling the whole time. That’s when you know it’s real.

This holiday weekend is one of the biggest proposal weekends of the entire year. If you’re hiding a ring somewhere in the house or pacing around trying to figure out the perfect moment, good luck. Fall portrait season (at least the filming part) finally hit the finish line and we can actually take a breath again. The rush was real and countless edits are flying out every single day as we wrap things with care and send our clients off to their holidays to share images with family and friends. This stretch always reminds us how much heart goes into every family we photograph and how good it feels to slow the pace a bit before the holidays roll in.

Now we shift into the season of cocoa, lights and families coming together. We’re excited for it!
