For this month’s guestmix I have invited my good friend from Sri Lanka… IMaL 🇱🇰 💣

Enthralled by the felicity music created in the minds of its listeners, Imal aspired to putting smiles in the faces of audience through his music.

He made His first steps into the field in 2018 across which he mastered the skill of emoting through music.

Although commercial music played a key role in his home ground, Sri Lanka, Imal's interest laid on progressive music. Despite music having an ocean of varieties Deep House, Progressive House and Progressive Techno has been Imal's greatest strength.

He continued his Production with some named lables such as AH Digital, Droid 9 South America, Another Life Music, SLC6, Dopamine White and many more.

Born in Birmingham, UK, it wasn't until his early twenties that Shabab began his love affair for DJing. Having been shown the basics on a pair of 1210's, he started on his path to DJing, playing house music on vinyl. As the years rolled by and moving onto CDJ's, he grew a huge passion for Progressive House and Techno. His music is highly energetic, consisting of groovy rhythms and filthy basslines. He would describe his main type of music as Uplifting Progressive Techno.

Shabab has played in various countries around the world which includes Malaysia, Philippines, Spain & Dubai as well as his homeland UK which includes clubs such as The Egg Club in London. He has played alongside big DJ's such as Nakadia, Mariano Mellino, Miss Monique, Andrew Meller, Konstantin Sibolo & Metodi Hristov + more.

Having made Malta his permanent home, he has now become a regular name in the Maltese underground clubbing scene, also launching his own club night Technoir and continues to push the boundaries.

Time to reveal our next artist for this month’s guestmix 💣 … my good friend Shabab KHAN 🙌🏼🔊❤️

Born in Birmingham, UK, it wasn't until his early twenties that Shabab began his love affair for DJing. Having been shown the basics on a pair of 1210's, he started on his path to DJing, playing house music on vinyl. Coming together to bring you the best expressive and diverse sets, Warren Barun and Manuel Borg; better known by their stage names Cedren & Manu-l, deliver a range of sounds that consist of deep tech, progressive and everything in between.

They are a duo known for their pulsing warm-up sets as well as their darker, heavy grooves constantly lifting dance-floors higher and higher and it is this shared enthusiasm for the energy found in the music that brought the two together after years working closely in the same environment.

Hard work and strong initial exposure at a variety of local festivals and venues is what gained Cedren & Manu-L good reputation and they have only grown bigger and stronger since; having started the Genesis events in Malta, hosting Dale Middleton, Mariano Mellino, Lonya, Graziano Raffa, Marcelo Vasami, Sonic Union, Petar Dundov, Khen, Nick Devon, Soul Button, Cid Inc, Dmitry Molosh, Hernan Cattaneo & Nick Warren.

Presently Cedren & Manu-L have been resident DJ's at one of the most renowned underground clubs in Malta, The Playground where together, they are sure to let you experience the energy joint talent can bring to the table.

David & Daniel started this journey together by successfully finishing a DJ course in 2010, focusing on house music and with the help of a club owner who was also a very good friend of theirs, they started having some gigs gaining experience in his club. Throughout the years a change in music style was felt and in 2014 they decided to integrate slowly in the underground music scene, which was the real music for their ears. Since they always performed as a duo, they even decided to change their stage name to DEEZTWO and started focusing more on the genre they loved the most and felt most at ease in - Progressive House Music!

Working hard and carefully, they started gaining respect from the local clubbers and making way for their name to grow mostly in the Progressive Scene! Till date, DEEZTWO played in alot of various prestigious events in Malta alongside big international artists, such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Mind Against, Magda, Rafael Cerato, Raxon, Petar Dundov, Stephan Barnem, Dmitry Molosh, Nick Devon, Emi Galvan, Stereo Underground, Anna, Dino Lenny & much more!

Few years ago they thought that it was also time to start their own 1/off events with the concept name of "DEEZTWO & you" and getting stronger year after year - featuring also Guest International artists like Miss Monique and Sebestian Busto and more to come soon.... They even had the privilege to play abroad in various countries such as Thailand, Italy, Scotland, Spain, Hungary and also played in Amsterdam for ADE last year with Music is the answer & La Foresta!

Years into it, today they are very well known for the vibe they create with their specific groovy track selections and harmonic journeys they always give shape to their sets! By keeping their feet on the ground, DEEZTWO are willing to continue growing in the local and foreign clubbing scene and by time starting their own production too !
