Nicole and Ashley's elopement was surreal. They created an experience that was unique and honest to them. Full of sparkles, disco balls, and most importantly, their chosen family - "the ones who fought for us and loved us all along."
Moments like this keep my creative spirit alive, and remind me of the importance of what I do. After all, these will all be stories some day and our picture will become old photographs. But right now these moments are not stories. This is happening. I can see it. This one moment when you know you're not a sad story, you are alive. And in this moment...

Hot damn, can we talk about this Desert Disco? These two had the most fun, intimate celebration I think I’ve ever seen. Married as the sun rose on a cool desert morning, then partied the night away in Joshua Tree. Full trailer coming soon 🌵🏜

Throwback to that time Andrea and Jeff made a stop at Skyline Chili on the way to their reception... the most Cincinnati thing I’ve ever seen and I absolutely love it (yes I had a coney, too 🙌🏼)
Some of my favorite reception things: ridiculous amounts of string lights, filming at breweries, drinking the beer that you make the bartender pour for the video 🤷🏼♂️

Sometimes, you don’t need to go to a faraway destination to find the perfect intimate spot for your ceremony. I’m still dreaming of Joy and Joel’s elopement right here in Cincy, nestled in the woods at Ault Park.
I can't pretend to understand how it feels to live as a minority in America. I have never feared for my safety when I see a police officer behind me, or felt like the color of my skin has played a role in the opportunities I have access to. No one should have to experience this, and I will stand with those that are fighting for reform until that day comes.
For the entire month of June, I will be donating 50% of all wedding deposits to The Movement for Black Lives. This is the least I can do.

Best prank first look? Toria and Jon weren’t planning on doing a first look, so naturally he was confused when we told him “Toria changed her mind!” His reaction when her sister comes up behind him is priceless 😂
The sunlight was perfect. The ceremony was beautiful. The reception was on fire. But really, we all know the Rudy cookies were the real star of Kelsey & Ben’s big day 🐶

Sometimes a moment happens on the wedding day and I instantly know it will be an important element of the film. For Chloe and Alex, it was when they took a quiet moment before their ceremony to read letters back to back.
