Plaguebringer always will have a special place in my heart. Some unseen detail shots of the face cape. I vacuum formed evafoam over different heads, random mannequin heads and sculpted some creepy features on some, I really loved his details and textures.

One thing I do during photoshoots is quote or think of quotes from the character. Like for Ursula I was saying like ‘look at me banished and exiled and practically starving’ or one mustn’t lurk in doorways it’s rude.’ Actually I was singing poor unfortunate souls in the water at one point. The basic family doing a beach photoshoot was very confused as to what I was doing. I simply replied ‘maturity photoshoot’ which really confused them more. Anyway for me it helps cause I am so awkward that I need an anchor to not just slip into deep mode.

Hydreigon Pokémon Hunter Armor. Swipe to see some build book shots.

This was my first Holmat, not my last who am I going to see this year?!! But for 2021, I was really proud about some theses techniques I just made up. Not knowing if they would work. A lot of these have been figured out by other makers now, and done better, but things like foam clay feathers, using foam clay scaling vs wood burning scales, making eyes out of foam clay and little glass magnifiers, and diffusing LEDs with gems I thought they were pretty creative at the time. Still proud of this build.
