*New Work - Golden Ecola Sunset
I’ve always loved this view! I first saw it as a kid with my family. Once I got bit by the photography bug I had an even deeper appreciation for this location, but every time I visited the conditions were either too clear, or socked in and raining. Finally, over 20 years after the first time photographing this view, everything lined up. I was also able to share this experience with a lovely group of folks, I was co-leading a workshop with my good friend

Ruckle Creek Falls - Paradise in the rainforest. I have fond memories of the adventure to this area. and I hiked through fields of poison oak to find this perfect rainforest canyon. Wonderful experience.

Fallen Angel - I feel privileged I was able to visit Antelope Canyon many years ago, before it became completely over run by tours. It’s such a spectacular and surreal location, and a joy to photograph without hundreds of people crammed in at once.

Smith Rock Birds Eye - Happy 4th of July! This is my favorite view in Smith Rock. It’s not a drone shot, it’s taken from the top of a tall pinnacle in the park.

Surreal Sunrise - Definitely a surreal moment as fog rolled in to the Palouse at sunrise. I also ran into my buddy on this amazing morning. Very memorable and dreamy morning.

Crater Lake Sunset - I’ll be headed back to Crater Lake to teach another workshop July19-21. Still spots available link in my bio to learn more. This was taken several years ago during a gorgeous 360 degree sunset, it was quite a display.

Painted Hills Aurora - I know I’m late to the aurora party. Hopefully everyone isn’t sick of seeing these. I was leading a photo tour in the painted hills last weekend and I took a group out after sunset to see if the aurora would show up. It ended up being much more spectacular than i imagined it would be. What an amazing experience to see it over the Painted Hills.

A lot of time is spent learning to take photos and develop photos, but printing is a third skill set that often remains intimidating and a little mysterious. Deschutes River Trail Visual Adventure Short

This is for the folks that prefer to view videos on Facebook rather than linking to YouTube - I took my D850 out to the Deschutes River Trails to test the new time-lapse function as well as my Mavic Pro. Fort Rock Aerial Footage

*Watch in HD* Some fun aerial footage captured with my Mavic Pro drone at Fort Rock State Park. Final shot was captured with my Sony A7R and 16-35mm FE lens. I was very careful not to fly in the State Park air space, or FAA restricted airspace.
