Day 3 💐 Texas Floral Forum

Saturday was a huge day. At least in my mind. All the designs we created were for a luncheon program where Andreia presented her take on wedding work. And let me tell you well actually the pictures will speak for themselves. Repurpose is the name of the game in allowing brides to maximize their budgets. So many great ideas and tips.

Day 2 💐

Friday was the first full day of Forum and Chris’s first class. I also got to meet one of my new flower besties Scott Hasty. I learned so many tips and tricks from him. This was also the day we got all the arrangements together and placed on the stage. Behind the scenes it’s fast and furious but so fun at the same time. You know that feeling you get when you find some of your people, that’s what it feels like back there. We also took a riverboat tour which a awesome!

It’s not every day you get to meet some of your idols. Thanks to Texas State Florists’ Association for the opportunity. I’ve spent the last 4 days living my best floral life working the Texas Floral Forum. Both of these people have got to be some of the most beautiful human beings I’ve ever met. In fact everyone involved with TSFA was so welcoming and friendly. I received 2 Floral Endowment scholarships as well as officially getting pinned with my TMF pin. Needless to say I will be flooding my feed soon with so many pictures and stories about my time, but for now I’m going to bask in everything I got to experience this week.

Thank you again Andreia Boscato Muller and Christopher Norwood for helping make this the best experience!!

I just love high school kids. Sometimes moms send me the bloopers. We will call this one “What do I do with this?”😁 You give them a boutonnière and they look at it like it’s a rocket science formula to put on lol. All joking aside can we appreciate how beautiful this young couple is? She has amazing taste in flowers and her bouquet was one of my top 5 I designed this prom season.

If budget is a worry for you as a bride. Put your money where it counts. Have a few statement pieces or even one big one that packs a punch instead of a bunch of little arrangements that can be easily forgotten.
