Beef caldereta or Kaldereta is another savory Filipino staple. It is another meat variation, simmered to tenderness in tomato sauce, liver spread and vegetables. “Kaldereta” is a type of meat stew, traditionally using goat meat. But not everyone or everyday these type of meat is available. The word “kaldereta” is actually derived from the Spanish word, “caldereta,” which means “cauldron” or “cooking pot”.
